Lauren Boebert Doubles Down on Heckling Biden: ‘I Would Absolutely Do It Again’

Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) has doubled down on heckling President Joe Biden at his State of the Union on Tuesday night.

Boebert has been criticized by the media and the Left but she is not backing down.

During an appearance on Fox News’s “The Ingraham Angle,” the congresswoman told host Laura Ingraham she would “absolutely do it again.”

During the State of the Union, Biden said “troops in Iraq have faced in Afghanistan face many dangers.

“Many of the world’s fittest and best-trained warriors in the world, never the same.

“Headaches, numbness, dizziness, a cancer that will put them in a flag-draped coffin.”

Boebert responded by yelling, “you put them in; 13 of them,” in reference to the fallen troops who died during Biden’s botched withdrawal from Afghanistan.

She said on The Ingraham Angle: “I want to remind everyone who may be concerned about me speaking up at the State of the Union that Joe Biden was 100% responsible for the deaths of the 13 brave service members we lost in Afghanistan.

“And last night, he took zero responsibility for it.

“When Joe Biden started talking about flag-draped coffins, I got fired up.

“My mind went straight to the 13 soldiers that died in Afghanistan.

“The mother of one of those heroes lives in my district.

“She told me Joe Biden killed her son.

“So you’re darn right I spoke up.

“And if I could redo last night, I would absolutely do it again.”

“The left … got upset – they attacked me for it.

“That’s fine,” she said.

“I can take it, but I will always speak the truth.”

Boebert and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) also started chanting “build the wall” when Biden pivoted to immigration.

Boebert also wore a “Drill Baby Drill” outfit to the speech.

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki fired back at Boebert, saying: “I have to tell you that during that heckling, which, I was watching that on TV with a group of my team, team members and colleagues, and we were all excited and cheering.

“And that was the moment in the speech where the president was talking about his unity agenda, and talking about priorities that we should all be able to agree on.

“Look, one American dies every five minutes of an opioid overdose.

“There’s no question we should do more to help our nation’s veterans, people who have been hurt by the impacts of burn pits. Of course, we need to do more to work together to cure cancer.

“And they were heckling around that time and that moment.

“I think that says a lot more about them than it does about how important these priorities are, and how much the vast majority of people who are sitting there watching in that chamber last night could work together to solve exactly those problems.

“And others too, probably,” she said.

Boebert fired back on social media: “The left is pissed because I called out Biden’s botched withdrawal from Afghanistan that left 13 of America’s finest in a flag-draped coffin.

“They are mad because a speech was “interrupted. Ask the families who lost their loved ones how interrupted their lives are now.”

The hosts on “The View” also weighed in on the controversy.

“Listen, Lauren, you’re in the United States Congress,” Joy Behar said.

“You’re not doing a midnight set at Chuckles.”

Whoopi Goldberg said: “Soldiers know what’s coming.

“They don’t want to die, and what you should do is you should have let Biden say what he had to say, and if you were going to yell something out, just hold off.

“Hold off, but don’t do it there because we’re trying to hear it and we’re talking about you instead.

“Don’t talk about the military unless you really want to talk about the military.

“You can’t do what they do.

“That’s why we revere them because they do the stuff we can’t do.

“And the minute you poop on them, you poop on them like the last guy did, talking about those Gold Star families, talking about Mr. McCain as not being a hero.

“Who the hell do you think you are, little girl? Who do you think you are?”

“You don’t have to like this president to be respectful of him talking about the military and his son, who died.

“You don’t have to do that.

“You don’t have to like him, but you must be respectful. You got to be”
