Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) has fired back at Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) following a backlash from the Democrat congresswoman’s own constituents.
As Slay News reported, Ocasio-Cortez came under fire from her New York constituents during a town hall event this week.
Angry voters yelled out that she had betrayed them after running as an outsider but then voting with the Washington D.C. Democratic Party elite.
Boebert responded by accusing AOC of selling out her constituents before giving her a radioactive new nickname.
“On the rare occasions that @AOC actually spends time with her constituents, she is reminded that she has sold them out at every turn,” Boebert said.
“She campaigned as an outsider and has now just morphed into Sandy Pelosi.”

AOC responded to Boebert, saying: “Hey Boebert, you seem to have us confused.
“I have attended and hosted hundreds of community events, hold regular town halls, don’t take a dime in corporate cash.
“You are bankrolled by corporate PACs, Big Ag, and Oil, are too scared to hold regular town halls open to all.”

Boebert fired back:
“I have governed as I campaigned. You sold out your supporters.
“I notice you took a screenshot of my tweet instead of sharing the original one with the video of you getting completely ripped to shreds by your own constituents.
“Just own it,” she added.
“You’re the machine now.”

Ocasio-Cortez was brutally heckled and shut down by some of her own New York City voters.
“None of this matters unless there’s a nuclear war, which you voted to send arms and weapons to Ukraine,” one voter yelled out.
“You ran as an outsider, yet you’ve been voting to start this war in Ukraine.
“You’re voting to start a third nuclear war with Russia and China.
“Why are you playing with the lives of American citizens?
“Tulsi Gabbard has shown guts where you’ve shown cowardice.
“I believed in you, and you became the very thing you sought to fight against.”
“That’s what you’ve become.
“You are the establishment.”
The worst part (which of course they cut from the clip) is the fact that they were yelling over a **deaf constituent** asking a question, and continued to do so when it was made clear to them that they were yelling over a person with a disability
