Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) has called out the suspicious timing of Elon Musk being the target of a left-wing “sexual harassment” hit piece “barely 24 hours” after “becoming a Republican.”
Boebert delivered the knockout blow to the corporate media over a scandalous attack against Musk that emerged almost immediately after he denounced Democrats and announced he “will vote Republican” from now on.
“In the past, I voted Democrat because they were (mostly) the kindness party,” Musk explained earlier this week.
“But they have become the party of division & hate, so I can no longer support them and will vote Republican.
“Now, watch their dirty tricks campaign against me unfold,” he warned.
Within 24 hours, Business Insider, a left-wing tabloid-ish corporate media darling, came out with a hit piece quoting a “friend” of a former employee of Musk’s aerospace company SpaceX.
This friend, not the victim, claimed a former Musk employee was harassed by Musk and settled with the company for $250K.
Business Insider ran the hit piece on Musk without evidence, relying only on hearsay.
Enter Boebert to cut through the noise:

Musk addressed the hit piece saying:
“For the record, those wild accusations are utterly untrue.
“But I have a challenge to this liar who claims their friend saw me ‘exposed’ – describe just one thing, anything at all (scars, tattoos, …) that isn’t known by the public.
“She won’t be able to do so, because it never happened.
“The attacks against me should be viewed through a political lens – this is their standard (despicable) playbook – but nothing will deter me from fighting for a good future and your right to free speech.”
When asked if he responded to the reporters who wrote the story, he said:
“No, it was clear that their only goal was a hit price to interfere with the Twitter acquisition.
“The story was written before they even talked to me.”
Johnna Crider said:
“It’s strange how their friend is the one who came forward years after it supposedly happened while claiming they can’t stay silent.
“It’s a story based on hearsay. ‘My friend said.’ No proof.”
Musk said:
