Lauren Boebert Fires Back after AOC Demands She ‘Quit’ Congress

Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) turned the tables on radical Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) after the New York Democrat demanded she “quit” Congress.

AOC told Boebert to surrender her congressional seat and let someone who “gives a damn do it instead.”

Boebert said after the Texas tragedy: “You cannot legislate away evil.”

However, AOC attempted to turn the tragedy into an attack against Republicans and singled out Second Amendment advocate Boebert.

“Why even be in Congress if you don’t believe in doing your job?” AOC responded to Boebert.

“Just quit and let someone who actually gives a damn do it instead of acting like a useless piece of furniture when babies are shot with AR15s that we let teen boys impulse buy before they can legally have a beer.”

Boebert fired back at AOC with a challenge:

“Ms. Defund the Police, Gun-Free Zones have proven to be deadly.

“Let me know when you’re ready to do your job and effectively protect our schools with armed security.

“Let’s meet and solve this,” Boebert added.

“Nancy Pelosi had no problem bussing in 25,000 armed troops to protect her with AR-15s in an empty, locked-down city.

“At a minimum, our schools can have certified armed teachers to protect our children from deranged maniacs who wish to do them harm.”

The man who opened fire in a Texas elementary school on Tuesday, massacring 19 children and two adults, was a loner who kept to himself and avoided any kind of conversation, according to the boyfriend of the gunman’s mother.

The shooter, identified by multiple law enforcement sources as Salvador Rolando Ramos, indiscriminately opened fire at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, about 80 miles from San Antonio.

He was killed by an off-duty agent with the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Border Patrol Tactical Unit and two law enforcement officers, law enforcement sources said.

Juan Alvarez, 62, who has been in a relationship with Ramos’ mother for about a year and lives with her, said Ramos had a tumultuous relationship with his mother that often included fights.

Alvarez said Ramos left his mother’s home two months ago to live with his grandmother after he got into an intense argument with his mother after he disconnected the Wi-Fi.
