Lauren Boebert Shuts Down AOC: ‘Your Policies Are Failing America and You’re Going to Lose the House’

Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) has shut down Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) by reminding the New York congresswomen that the November midterm elections are looming.

Rep. Boebert fired back at AOC after she tried to blame the GOP lawmaker for the Jan. 6 riot on Capitol Hill.

Boebert said on social media:

“1984 called and they want their bleak, immoral, thuggish, and deadly totalitarian dystopian future back.”

AOC said: “Hey quick question Boebert, did you ask for a pardon after tweeting the Speaker’s location on Jan 6th?

“You and the KKK Caucus have been really quiet about it today and given how much y’all have to say I’m not sure why no one’s responding to this simple question.

“Maybe your friend @RepMTG can answer!

“Did either of you seek a pardon? Just trying to clear some things up.”

Boebert fired back:

“Ok Sandy, $5 a gallon gas, 3+ million illegals crossing our southern border, no baby formula, inflation higher than it’s been in both of our lifetimes, and this is what you want to talk about?

“Your policies are failing America, and you’re going to lose the House come November.”

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) agreed, saying earlier:

“This is the crazy left that… this is AOC and Elizabeth Warren, thank God, not in bikinis, but embracing their socialist nuttiness,” Cruz told co-host Michael Knowles during an appearance on “Verdict.”

“I mean, it’s literally like someone sat down at a bar and said, how much crazy crap can we do?

“Like how far can we go to drive away, not just the conservatives.

“That’s a given, not even just the moderates, not even just the independents, but what can we do to drive away good old-fashioned liberals who are not nuts.

“I do wanna clarify, Senator, just on the Girls Gone Wild point. I only ever watched that for the articles,” Knowles joked.

“I think the analogy is very good that they’ve gone to extremes and followed their own wildest impulses.

“So what is going to happen to them in these elections that are really coming up right before us?”

Cruz said: “I know what they’re gonna do in November.

“They’re gonna get obliterated in November. It is going to be a historic election.

“It’s, every issue is so extreme.

“Look, there are people, Bill Maher. Bill Maher is an old-school liberal, who they are driving away.

“Elon Musk, Elon Musk has been a Democrat his whole life.

“They are driving him away, where he said, ‘Okay, I’m voting Republican now, cuz these guys are nuts,’” he said.

How bad is it going to get for the Democrats?

Well, Biden is still blaming Putin and the oil companies not finding solutions so it is going to get a lot worse.

Biden said: “Today’s report underscores why I have made fighting inflation my top economic priority.

“While it is good to see critical ‘core’ inflation moderating, it is not coming down as sharply and as quickly as we must see.

“Putin’s Price Hike hit hard in May here and around the world: high gas prices at the pump, energy, and food prices accounted for around half of the monthly price increases, and gas pump prices are up by $2 a gallon in many places since Russian troops began to threaten Ukraine.

“Even as we continue our work to defend freedom in Ukraine, we must do more—and quickly—to get prices down here in the United States.

“My Administration will continue to do everything we can to lower prices for the American people. Congress must act urgently as well.

“I call on Congress to pass a bill to cut shipping costs this month, and get it to my desk, so we can lower the price of goods.

“And, I call on Congress to pass legislation to cut costs for families like energy bills and prescription drugs.

“The deficit has come down more under my watch as President than at any time in history, but if Congress would pass tax reform to make the wealthiest Americans and big corporations pay their fair share, we could reduce this inflationary pressure even more.

“These are the most significant things Congress can do to help families now and complement the Federal Reserve’s efforts to bring inflation down.

“Prices at the pump are a major part of inflation, and the war in Ukraine is a major cause of that.

“The United States is on track to produce a record amount of oil next year, and I am working with the industry to accelerate this output.

“But it is also important that the oil and gas and refining industries in this country not use the challenge created by the war in Ukraine as a reason to make things worse for families with excessive profit taking or price hikes.

“We all have work to do to get inflation down,” he said.

“What will not help is the plan by some Republicans in Congress to raise taxes on the middle class and working families.

“That would be a step in the wrong direction, and I strongly oppose it.”
