Rep. Lauren Boebert, R-Colo., issued a warning to President Joe Biden and Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas telling the men that Mayorkas needs to do the right thing and resign or face certain impeachment for the disaster at the border.
She told Fox News’ Jesse Watters: “Nothing about this regime makes sense, only that they are trying to destroy and overwhelm our system. And look, I know that this is an incredibly serious topic. We have an invasion at our southern border.
“But how can you watch Mayorkas come before Congress and not laugh? He’s trying to tell us with a straight face, he’s effectively managed the border,” she said of the astounding statement made by the Secretary where he said the border was secure.
Not even Joe Manchin, a Dem Senator agrees with that, instead, he calls it a crisis and he is demanding Biden do something. Nor are most of the Dems up for election in tough districts.

Lauren continued:
“Secretary Mayorkas will be impeached. If he doesn’t resign, he will be impeached.”
She went on to detail what the Department of Homeland Security is requesting from Congress, “all of this new money” not for border patrol agents, but “to hire travel agents,” to help migrants move around the country once processed.
“Folks who’ll say, Here’s a free plane ticket to a city of your choice. Also, American taxpayers will be paying for your healthcare, schooling and legal assistance.”
“That’s what’s happening here,” she said.
Rep. Clay Higgins, R-La., told Mayorkas to resign during a contentious hearing. He said:
“This disaster we have at our southern border, this disintegration of our sovereignty, cannot be sustained.
“Anyone who has two brain cells that perhaps would bump into each other would know that it’s abject failure down there.
“How would you identify failure if it’s not what you’ve delivered so far?
“My God man, own the moment.
“You have been called upon to resign by myself and others. Next year, if we have the majority, which we shall, you will face impeachment.
“I ask you as a man, own this thing.
“Please feel my spirit and speak truthfully, step away from your talking points and speak to the American people and own this thing.
“We’re losing our country down there and need you to resign. Save the country the pain of your impeachment,” he said.
