Leo Terrell Humiliates Liz Cheney after She Claims Trump ‘Is Not Qualified to Be President’

Civil rights attorney Leo Terrell has fired back at Liz Cheney after the former congresswoman claimed that President Donald Trump “is not qualified” to be POTUS.

Cheney had taken to Twitter to blast Trump after he recently pledged to pardon most of the Jan. 6 prisoners if reelected.

She responded by claiming that his promise of pardons means he “is not qualified to be President.”

Terrell, a regular Fox News contributor, shot back and humiliated Cheney by reminding her of the disastrous defeat she suffered in the 2022 primary.

Cheney lost her seat in Congress when she was beaten by Trump-endorsed Rep. Harriet Hageman (R-WY).

In a tweet, Cheney declared: “Any candidate who says they will pardon Jan. 6 defendants is not qualified to be President.”

Terrell responded to her post by telling Cheney: “You are not qualified to serve in Congress!

“That is why you lost by 60 percentage points!”

Cheney’s comments were an apparent response to Trump saying earlier this month during the CNN Town Hall, “I am inclined to pardon many of them.”

“I can’t say for every single one, because a couple of them, probably … got out of control.

He added that “most likely” he would pardon “a large portion of them … and it’ll be very early on.”

Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis has also hinted at pardons for the Jan. 6 prisoners.

However, DeSantis fell short of a promise, saying only that he’ll consider pardoning Jan. 6 defendants if elected to the White House.

DeSantis, who recently launched his 2024 presidential campaign, appeared on “The Clay Travis & Buck Sexton Show” and was asked about pardoning defendants connected to Jan. 6.

“On day one, I will have folks that will get together and look at all these cases, who people are victims of weaponization or political targeting, and we will be aggressive in issuing pardons,” DeSantis said.
