Conservative civil rights attorney Leo Terrell has fired back at Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) after the Senate minority leader publicly condemned Tucker Carlson over the Fox News star’s explosive reporting on the Jan. 6 Tapes.
As Slay News reported, McConnell joined with Democrats in slamming Carlson for exposing how the anti-Trump Jan. 6 Committee and its allies in the media mislead the public about the events at the Capitol on January 6, 2021.
McConnell argues that it was a “mistake” for Carlson to show the American people the truth about what actually transpired during Jan. 6.
“My concern is how it was depicted,” McConnell said.
“Clearly, the chief of the Capitol Police correctly describes what most of us witnessed firsthand on January 6th.”

McConnell has been widely criticized for his stance regarding the tapes.
Elon Musk even questioned McConnell’s party affiliation.
“I keep forgetting which party he belongs to.”

This is the first mainstream media report to emerge that runs contrary to the false “violent insurrection” narrative that’s been pushed by the Democrats.
Carlson shared clips that debunk the stories put out by the media and the anti-Trump January 6 Committee.
McConnell’s response doesn’t seem surprising to some as he has stood by the false narrative since the beginning.
