Maria Bartiromo called out Democrat Rep. Debbie Dingell (D-MI) on her Fox Business show, telling the congresswoman to be honest about how much President Joe Biden’s Build Back Better Act will cost.
Bartiromo said: “Joe Biden’s spending spree is not over.
“They are continuing to push through — Democrats are scrambling to pass the massive social spending and tax package Build Back Better before Christmas. (See Video Below)
“The CBO has come out with its score on this plan, estimating that this plan will cost $4.9 trillion.
“Why not just be honest about the true cost of the bill?
“I think the American people just want honesty.
“If it’s going to cost $5 trillion, say it.
“Don’t say it’s not going to cost anything.
“Joe Biden continues to say it costs zero, it’s not gonna cost anything, right?
“So you want these programs to stay the term, 10 years, that’s why you’re negotiating so much.”
“Compromise isn’t a dirty word,” said Dingell.
“And that’s what’s happening in this country.
“There are things that I don’t love in almost every bill.”

Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, agreed with Maria that Biden’s spending must be stopped.
Musk said: “Honestly, I would just can this whole bill. Don’t pass it. That’s my recommendation. I mean seriously, we shouldn’t pass it.
“If we don’t cut government spending, something really bad is going to happen. This is crazy.
“Rules and regulations are immortal. They don’t die.
“The vast majority of rules and regulations live forever there’s not really an effective garbage collection system for removing rules and regulations, so this hardens the arteries of civilization where you are able to do less and less over time.
“The role of government should be that of like a referee, but not a player on the field, t should get out of the way and not impede progress.
“Unnecessary,” he said of Biden’s subsidies jammed in the bill.
“Do we need support for gas stations? We don’t.
“I’m literally saying get rid of all subsidies.”
“If this was a company, it would be a $3 trillion loss,” he said of DC’s spending.
“This can’t keep going.”
“The government is simply the biggest corporation, with a monopoly on violence and where you have no recourse,” he said.
“It’s the only one that’s allowed to legally do violence.”
“We should minimize what the government does,” Musk said.
