Matt Gaetz Suggests He May Be Trump’s AG, Warns Biden He ‘Will Be There to Actually Enforce the Law’

Republican Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) has suggested that he could be in the running as President Donald Trump’s attorney general if he returns to the White House in 2025.

Gaetz hinted at the position during an interview with Newsmax.

He also issued a warning to former Secretary State Hillary Clinton, former President Barack Obama, and current President Joe Biden.

Gaetz was talking about sending criminal referrals for some scandalous behavior by Democrat politicians and their favorite bureaucrats.

Such charges would include violating the Constitution by censoring American citizens.

The congressman added that he will not give up his pursuit for justice just because Attorney General Merrick Garland will not act on anything the House GOP sends to the DOJ.

“I don’t ascribe to the theory that we just have to surrender sending criminal referrals because somehow Merrick Garland will never prosecute them,” Gaetz said.

“For many of the crimes that we are observing, the statute of limitations is five years.

“And so we could send criminal referrals to the Department of Justice, we go take the White House back.

“And you never know, it may be an Attorney General Matt Gaetz down the road, or someone of my liking.

“Who will be there to actually enforce the law and provide the accountability.

“Not just the vision, but the actual accountability.”
