Democrat President Joe Biden has now spent more time on “vacation” at this point in his presidency than his last three predecessors Donald Trump, Barack Obama, and George W. Bush.
Biden’s current vacation is reportedly his 49th visit to his Deleware beach home during his presidency so far.
The Left, if you recall, slammed Trump repeatedly for spending time at his properties on “vacation.”
However, the same media that made it a key issue with Trump has given Biden a free pass.
Since entering the White House, Biden has still traveled home 49 times while spending 150 full or part days in Delaware.
This comes from former CBS News White House correspondent Mark Knoller, who tracks the numbers:
By my count, this is Biden’s 49th visit to Delaware as pres. Brings number of days there to 150. Compares to:
Trump: 17 visits to Mar-a-Lago; 13 to Bedminster NJ (132 days)
Obama: 8 vac trips incl HA & Martha’s Vineyard: (38 days)
GWBush: 14 visits to Texas ranch (100 days).— Mark Knoller (@markknoller) August 17, 2022
By this stage in his presidency, Trump made 17 visits to Mar-a-Lago and 13 to Bedminster in New Jersey spending 132 days at his resorts.
Barack Obama had taken eight vacation trips by this stage of his presidency for a total of 38 days away from the White House.
George W. Bush had spent 100 days on his ranch in Texas over 14 different trips by this stage of his presidency.
Bush was also heavily criticized for taking “vacations.”
