Megyn Kelly Warns Biden: Americans Won’t Vote for a ‘Near-Corpse’

Megyn Kelly delivered some bad news to Democrat President Joe Biden amid mounting doubts about his chances in the 2024 election.

During her show, Kelly was discussing a new Wall Street Journal poll that showed a huge majority of Americans think Biden is too old to run again.

73 percent of all voters think that Biden is too old for a second term.

Two-thirds of Democrats believe he’s too old to run again which is a terrible sign for Biden. Only 40 percent think that Trump is too old to run again.

“The voters are not ableist, they’re not ageist,” Kelly said.

“They’re taking people on a case-by-case basis and they see a vibrant man in Trump and they see a near-corpse – forgive me, but it’s true – in Biden.”

Eliana Johnson, editor-in-chief of the Washington Free Beacon, said Biden won’t step down because he thinks only he can beat Trump.

Johnson said: “I think Biden thinks he’s the only person who can beat Trump in 2024.

“I don’t think he thinks Kamala Harris can do it.

“And I don’t think the Democratic Party thinks Kamala Harris can do it.

“And I think that’s why you see the reluctance from Biden to see the stage and open a primary.

“I think Democrats really worry that they don’t have somebody ready to go along the sidelines, partially because there would be deference to Kamala Harris.”

Kelly said: “But Trump, he does have huge numbers within his own party.

“Yet Joe Biden has got his fingers in his ears, and his eyes closed, and is pretending there is no opposition.”

According to The Wall Street Journal:

Voters overwhelmingly think President Biden is too old to run for re-election and give him low marks for handling the economy and other issues important to their vote, according to a new Wall Street Journal poll that offers a stark warning to the 80-year-old incumbent ahead of the 2024 contest.

The negative views of Biden’s age and performance in office help explain why only 39% of voters hold a favorable view of the president.

In a separate question, some 42% said they approve of how he is handling his job, well below the 57% who disapprove.

And Biden is tied with former President Donald Trump in a potential rematch of the 2020 election, with each holding 46% support in a head-to-head test.

“Voters are looking for change, and neither of the leading candidates is the change that they’re looking for,” said Democratic pollster Michael Bocian, who conducted the survey with Republican pollster Tony Fabrizio.

Although the candidates are only three years apart, 73% of voters said they feel Biden is too old to seek a second term, compared with 47% of voters who said the same of the 77-year-old Trump.

Two-thirds of Democrats said Biden was too old to run again.
