Attorney General Merrick Garland has been named as the “senior” official accused of obstructing the investigations into Democrat President Joe Biden’s son Hunter.
As Slay News previously reported, an IRS whistleblower came forward to give sworn testimony that a top Biden administration official has been interfering in the case for political reasons.
Through a lawyer, the whistleblower sent a bombshell letter to Congress.
The letter alleges that evidence is being covered up in a “high-profile, controversial” case managed by the Department of Justice (DOJ).
The case, believed to be the investigation into Hunter Biden’s taxes, is being obstructed due to “clear conflicts of interest” from higher-ups, according to the whistleblower.

The whistleblower claims to have information that contradicted the sworn testimony of a “senior” Biden administration official.
That official has now been identified as AG Garland.
The identification was first made by the New York Post.
The information was later confirmed by the Washington Examiner and Daily Mail, all citing anonymous sources.
If accurate, Garland would be guilty of committing perjury in statements given to Congress under oath.
As a result of the new information, Garland’s April 2022 testimony to Republican Sen. Bill Hagerty (R-TN) has been called into question.
During his testimony, Garland assured that there would be no political interference in the investigation into Hunter Biden.
Garland had also stated that U.S. Attorney David Weiss of Delaware, a Trump appointee, was the supervisor of the investigation.
The attorney general asserted that Weiss had full authority to bring charges.
In March 2023, Garland reiterated this promise during testimony to Republican Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA)
However, it remains unclear which specific testimony the whistleblower was referring to.
Garland has faced criticism from Republicans in the past over allegations of politicizing activities at the DOJ.
Garland has provoked widespread backlashes for directing the FBI to investigate parents protesting at school board meetings and for targeting pro-life activists for enforcement.
These latest allegations related to the Hunter Biden investigation have further intensified the scrutiny of Garland’s actions and statements.
