Officials in Minnesota are set to issue driver’s licenses to 81,000 illegal aliens residing in the state.
The new law, dubbed “Driver’s License For All,” comes into effect on October 1.
Under the law, illegal aliens will be officially eligible to apply for driver’s licenses.
However, the move is raising major concerns about voter fraud ahead of the critical 2024 elections.
A Minnesota driver’s license is all a person needs to register to vote online.
Around 81,000 people are expected to be eligible under the state’s new law, according to Fox News.
Illegals can now make appointments to apply to ensure they get a license as soon as the law goes into effect on Oct. 1.
Pong Xiong, Driver and Vehicle Services Director at the Minnesota Department of Public Safety, celebrated the move during a news conference about the change in law.
“We’re incredibly proud to be a part of a handful of states that offer driver’s licenses for all,” said Xiong.
“And the first step to getting your driver’s license is to pass that written test.”
According to Jody-Kay Peterson, the department’s Driver Services Program Director, the new law removes the requirements for applicants to show legal presence.
Proponents of the new law claim it will make the roads safer because more drivers will be licensed.
However, critics argue that it will encourage more illegal immigration.
Peterson even declared that the department would not help any immigration law enforcement regarding potential deportations.

The news comes amid the mounting national crisis at the Southern Border caused by Democrat President Joe Biden’s radical policies.
Border communities, besieged by Biden’s broken policies and abandoned by the federal government, have been facing the crisis head-on.
However, the crisis and now flooded into the communities of so-called “sanctuary” cities and states.
As Slay News reported last week, New York City’s Democrat Mayor Eric Adams blasted the Biden administration over the lack of support in dealing with the issue.
Adams has told his constituents that President Joe Biden’s border policies and handling of the migrant crisis “will destroy New York City.”
Adams said the White House has given “no support” for the thousands of illegal border crossers who are arriving in NYC.
The mayor told New Yorkers that they should expect illegal aliens to flood all neighborhoods across the city as authorities are losing control of the situation.
He warned the public that he sees no end in sight to Biden’s self-made crisis.
“I’m gonna tell you something, New Yorkers, never in my life have I had a problem that I didn’t see an ending to,” Adams said.
“I don’t see an ending to this.
“This issue will destroy New York City,” the mayor declared.
“One hundred ten thousand migrants we have to feed, clothe, house, educate the children, wash their laundry sheets, give them everything they need, health care,” he added.
