Republican former House Speaker Newt Gingrich said he does not believe Democrat President Joe Biden will run for reelection in 2024.
However, Gingrich said he’s heard a rumor from inside the Clinton camp that Hillary is planning to run for a third time.
“I fully expect Biden to not run again,” Gingrich said.
“I think the Democratic Party would be in a state of shock if he did.
“He is already weaker than Jimmy Carter was at this stage.
“And Carter went down to the worst Electoral College defeat of any incumbent president in modern history.”
Gingrich said Vice President Kamala Harris is even “weaker than Biden.”
He then revealdd that he is hearing insider chatter about Hillary Clinton making another run.
“So the last rumor I heard was that Hillary is going to run, and I think it would say a lot about the chaos of America if Hillary Clinton reemerged one more time,” he said.
Biden got some bad news this week as his core base, Democrats in blue cities, grew frustrated when they could not secure COVID tests.
Even CNN ran stories about how annoyed Biden’s base is with him.

For many Americans, this holiday season may be remembered for hours spent in long testing lines, or fruitlessly searching pharmacy shelves for antigen tests as the Omicron variant took over the previous Delta wave.
Already patchy testing has been exposed by the latest highly transmissible variant, and the US is being compared unfavorably to other developed nations where citizens have easy access to rapid tests for free.
Biden told governors in a virtual meeting Monday that his administration should have done more to speed up the availability of rapid testing, before his pledge this month for 500 million kits due to begin distribution in January, which will be too late to help this week’s holiday crunch.
“It’s not enough. It’s clearly not enough. If we’d have known, we’d have gone harder, quicker if we could have,” the president said.
