NFL Legend Brett Favre Calls for Boycott of Fox News ‘Until They Come to Their Senses and Let Tucker Speak’

NFL legend Brett Favre has broken his silence on the shocking firing of former Fox News star Tucker Carlson.

Favre weighed in on the nasty negotiations to get Carlson out of his contract.

In response, Favre is calling for a boycott of the network until Fox agrees to release Carlson from his contract.

Tucker is reportedly ready to go scorched earth on Fox if the network continues to fight him and block his next move in media.

Favre was responding to a video by ex-Fox News star Megyn Kelly where she slammed the network for trying to silence Carlson.

The NFL Hall of Famer is backing Tucker in the dispute.

Favre said: “I’m with Tucker.

“Time to boycott Fox until they come to their senses and let the man speak.”

Bryan Freedman, the lawyer Carlson hired for the contract fight said: “The idea that anyone is going to silence Tucker and prevent him from speaking to his audience is beyond preposterous.”

Tucker’s contract expires in January 2025.

Fox does not want to compete with Tucker, especially during the 2024 election.

Fox is trying to pay him the remaining months of his contract, not as a reward for years of great ratings, but rather to keep him off the air and away from any rivals.

Sources close to Carlson told Axios that Tucker is seriously looking at starting a direct-to-consumer media outlet like Glenn Beck and Bill O’Reilly did.

Carlson’s last video on social media has over 80 million views so he is in line for a massive payday.

Sources close to Tucker told Axios the gloves are coming off:

“Tucker knows where a lot of bodies are buried and is ready to start drawing a map.

“They’re coming to him and saying: ‘Do you want me to hit Fox?’

“He’s been saying: ‘No. I want to get this done quiet and clean.’

“Now, we’re going from peacetime to Defcon 1,” the source said.

“His team is preparing for war.

“He wants his freedom.”
