A former top official under Barack Obama has trashed Democrat President Joe Biden for leading “one of the weakest administrations in modern times.”
Walter Shaub was the director of the United States Office of Government Ethics under Obama.
Shaub was, and still is, a fierce critic of President Donald Trump.
However, he is now speaking out against Biden as the president oversees multiple disastrous crises.
Trump got a lot of flack from the media and the establishment because he was an outsider and brought in outsiders to run his administration.
They didn’t know how the government worked and didn’t care but they helped Trump get the job done.
The record, especially when you compare it with Biden’s, is clear.
According to Shaub, members of Biden’s administration just want to protect their grift and their influence.
Shaub said of Biden: “I’m sorry, I know people love the guy and he’s better than the other guy, but this will go down in history as one of the weakest administrations in modern times, full of beltway insiders and influence peddlers who love the status quo and don’t comprehend this moment in history.
“One side of the political aisle thinks ‘you don’t need democracy,’ and the other one thinks ‘you don’t need democracy as long as the “good guys” are in charge.’
“We had a guy who thought he was President of Red States, now we have a guy who thinks he’s President of 1991,” Shaub said, comparing Trump to Biden.
“After Nixon, Carter fought for government ethics reform.
“After Trump, Biden has been rotating influence peddlers from SKDK, West Exec, and gigantic law firms through the administration on a conveyor belt, and a milk lobbyist is running the Agriculture Department.”
