Man Arrested for Putting ‘I Did That’ Biden Stickers on Gas Pumps to Protest High Prices

A Pennsylvania man has been arrested after he was caught putting anti-Biden stickers on fuel pumps to protest high gas prices.

The stickers have been popping up on gas pumps across the country and feature a finger-pointing President Joe Biden that says “I did that.”

Criminal charges have been filed against Thomas Richard Glazewski, 54, of Manor Township.

He was charged with resisting arrest, a misdemeanor, along with disorderly conduct, harassment, and criminal mischief — all summary offenses.

Glazewski was arrested Thursday at the Turkey Hill in East Hempfield Township.

The incident was caught on video, posted to social media, and has thousands of views already.

The video shows Glazewski yelling “I did that. I did that. That’s what I did,” while pointing to several stickers of Biden on the pump.

A Turkey Hill employee told police that Glazewski sprayed the stickers with a clear coat or something to make them harder to remove.

Aaron Philips, the man who posted the video, added this caption:

“MUST WATCH! Happened today at Turkey Hill located on Columbia Ave in Lancaster, PA. 03/31/22 at about 12:50 PM.

“This guy stuck stickers on a gas pump, got yelled at by a clerk for doing so, and went crazy afterward.

“Shout out to Manor Township Police Department, East Hempfield, and Manheim township for handling the situation quickly and correctly!

“The guy admits he stuck the stickers there, he “chased after the camera” and got to where he is now.

“The build-up was just him yelling and flipping out at the clerk for him putting the sticker on the pump. Enjoy.”

From The Daily Mail:

The ‘I did that!’ sticker has popped up across the country over the last few weeks as gas prices soar, similar to the ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ chants that swept through many red states as people showed their displeasure with the Democratic president.

One Alabama gas station employee told WAAY-TV last month that he regularly peels off the stickers from fuel pumps.

‘I take off five or six a day from our different pumps,’ Perry Cagle, assistant manager of an Exxon station near Athens, told the outlet.

Glazewski was serving two years of probation after pleading guilty to a count of retail theft in 2020 at the time of this incident, court records indicate.

This was the third time in the last decade he had been convicted and sentenced to probation for a retail theft offense, according to court documents.
