The Pentagon has made a stunning admission about the Chinese balloon that is currently floating over America.
Department of Defense (DOD) spokesman Brig. Gen. Patrick Ryder said the balloon was “maneuverable.”
Ryder revealed that the balloon has changed course, despite wind streams, and the Pentagon thinks “it will probably be over the United States for a few days.”
“We know that balloon has violated US airspace and international law — which is unacceptable,” Ryder said.
“And we’ve conveyed this directly to the PRC [Communist China] on multiple levels.
“The fact is, we know that it’s a surveillance balloon, and I’m not going to be able to be more specific than that.”
“The balloon continues to move eastward and is currently over the center of the continental United States.
“Again, we currently assess that the balloon does not present a military or physical threat to people on the ground at this time.
“It’ll probably be over the United States for a few days.
“The public certainly has the ability to look up in the sky and see where the balloon is,” he said but refused to exact location details.

I’ll repeat that: The Chinese spy balloon can “maneuver” and “change course” despite wind.pic.twitter.com/guRS7QQ7rr

“Clearly they’re trying to fly this — this balloon over sensitive sites to collect information,” a U.S. official said on Thursday.
Republican House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) said, “China’s brazen disregard for U.S. sovereignty is a destabilizing action that must be addressed, and President Biden cannot be silent.
“I am requesting a Gang of Eight briefing.”
“The airship is from China,” a spokesperson for the Chinese Foreign Ministry said on Friday.
“It is a civilian airship used for research, mainly meteorological, purposes.
“Affected by the Westerlies and with limited self-steering capability, the airship deviated far from its planned course.
“The Chinese side regrets the unintended entry of the airship into US airspace due to force majeure,” the spokesperson said.
“The Chinese side will continue communicating with the US side and properly handle this unexpected situation caused by force majeure.”
Republican Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) said:
“Everything about the Biden admin’s response to the Chinese spy balloon reeks of indecision and weakness.
“They can’t decide whether to shoot it down or not.
“They can’t decide whether to go to China or not.
“China has been spying on us pervasively.
“They also commit genocide, use slave labor, and threaten us and our allies.
“Staggering to think a balloon changes everything for Team Biden.”
Everything about the Biden admin’s response to the Chinese spy balloon reeks of indecision and weakness. They can’t decide whether to shoot it down or not. They can’t decide whether to go to China or not. 1/x

China may be flying a spy balloon over our country but on the bright side, it’s not like we’re allowing them to buy our farmland, are totally reliant on them for medical supplies, every corporation has their manufacturing base there, and have Congressmen who banged their spies.
