The ultra-liberal head of the Catholic Church, Pope Francis, has issued a fearmongering warning about so-called “climate change.”
According to Francis, “climate change” has now become “a road to death.”
He made the comments during a new interview at the Vatican where he also declared that “global warming is alarming!”
During the interview, the pope sought to raise the alarm about an alleged “climate crisis” while demanding the end of fossil fuel use.
The Pontiff accuses world leaders and fossil fuels of being the primary contributors to “global warming.”
When asked whether the public should panic over “climate change,” Francis alleged that humanity has now reached “the point of no return.”
He noted that wealthy nations are becoming increasingly reliant on fossil fuels.
“They are the countries that can make the most difference, given their industry and all, aren’t they?” the pope said.
“But it is very difficult to create an awareness of this.”
“They hold a conference, everybody is in agreement, they all sign, and then bye-bye,” he added.
“But we have to be very clear: Global warming is alarming!”
He continued by declaring that “climate change, at this moment, is a road to death.”
“It’s sad, but that’s what it is,” he concluded.
“Global warming is a serious problem”
On Earth Day last month, the pope conveyed his radical opinions on social media.
In a post on X, Francis claimed that the Earth “is falling into ruin” and that we have “failed to protect the planet.”

The warning from the pope comes after a top climate scientist provoked outrage last week for pushing his plan to fight “global warming.”
As Slay News reported, Professor Bill McGuire, a top UK government climate scientist, has called for a major “culling of the human population” in order to fight “global warming.”
McGuire argues that a “pandemic with a very high fatality rate” is required to wipe out a large portion of the human race.
According to McGuire, a mass depopulation event is “the only realistic way” to “avoid a catastrophic climate breakdown.”
McGuire, a Professor of Geophysical & Climate Hazards at University College London (UCL), said the quiet part out loud in a post on X on Sunday.
“If I am brutally honest, the only realistic way I see emissions falling as fast as they need to, to avoid catastrophic #climate breakdown, is the culling of the human population by a pandemic with a very high fatality rate,” he wrote.

Alarmingly, McGuire was a member of a British government body that advised politicians on the COVID-19 response.
He also co-authored a report for the globalist United Nations’ Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC).
As Slay News has reported, the IPCC dictates climate policy to governments worldwide.
