Disgraced Pro-Antifa Teacher Given 3 Years’ Salary to Quit for Indoctrinating Kids

A disgraced California teacher and far-left Antifa activist has been given three years’ salary in exchange for his resignation after he was caught indoctrinating school children in an undercover video.

Inderkum High School teacher Gabriel Gipe received $190,000 to leave his job, the Sacramento Bee reported, citing records.

Gipe was exposed in an undercover operation by the investigative journalism group Project Veritas.

He was caught on video saying he wanted to turn his students into “revolutionaries.”

The teacher also said he needed to “scare the f***” out of students to motivate them politically.

He admitted even offered them extra credit on their school work to attend right-wing rallies as Antifa protesters.

In the secretly recorded video, Gipe also boasts that he has an Antifa flag in his classroom.

When one student said he was uncomfortable with it, Gipe replied, “Well, this [Antifa flag] is meant to make fascists feel uncomfortable, so if you feel uncomfortable, I don’t really know what to tell you.”

The Natomas Unified School District paid Gabriel Gipe the aforementioned dollar amount to leave his position at Inderkum High School and not battle it, the paper said.

The newspaper cites settlement records the district provided following the Bee’s California Public Records Act request.

The report says Gipe’s payout was taxed, and final checks totaled about $100,000.

His annual base salary was about $60,000.

The Bee added that while it’s unclear if Gipe plans to teach in the future, the settlement bars the district from discussing Gipe’s separation with any potential new employers.

He resigned four months after the controversy surrounding him erupted, on January 7 of this year, the paper said.

Last year, the school district indicated it would fire Gipe after Project Veritas exposed his far-left leanings and desire to indoctrinate students.

“In following the principles of democracy, Natomas Unified staff is following due process, the law, and spent the past two days investigating the alleged teacher actions and his classroom environment,” Superintendent Chris Evans wrote in a Sept. 1, 2021 letter to the district community.

“As of today, this teacher was placed on paid leave because of his actions and choices in the classroom.

“Natomas Unified will be taking the legally required next steps to place the teacher on unpaid leave and fire the teacher.

“By taking a day and a half to investigate beyond the video, the district was able to learn more facts essential to the next steps.”

Days after the district’s letter, angry parents blasted district officials at a public meeting.

Families demanded accountability over what Gipe, an AP government teacher, had been up to.

“What the hell are y’all doing?” one mother asked school officials.

“I’m tired. How long does it have to go on? Before somebody says something?

“How long? How long?

“What are you going to do? That’s the question.

“Get him out of here.

“We don’t f***ing care about this [teacher]. He got to go.”

The mother received a round of applause from the other parents in the room.

“You feel this pain right here? It’s not going away,” An angry father blasted.

“The only question I got is where does the f***ing buck stop?

“This is bigger than one teacher … there were so many red flags.

“The man had an Antifa flag behind his desk.

“He had Chairman Mao in the f***ing corner.

“Are you kidding me?”

Here’s a local news report that aired last September when the controversy erupted:
