Pro-Hamas Protesters Disrupt Senate Hearing, Yell Over Blinken: ‘Murderer!’

Pro-Hamas protesters descended on Capitol Hill and immediately disrupted a Senate hearing as soon as it got underway.

At the start of the Senate hearing on Tuesday, Democrat President Joe Biden’s Secretary of State Antony Blinken attempted to deliver his opening statement.

However, anti-Israel demonstrators had painted their hands red and sat in the back of the room before he began.

As soon as Blinken began his opening statement, a protester began screaming pro-Hamas propaganda.

“Save the children now!” they yelled.

“Save the children of Gaza!

“Save the children of Gaza!

“Ceasefire now!” the demonstrator shouted as Blinken tried to speak.

“Where is your pride America?”

Security appeared to remove the protester from the room.

Blinken then briefly continued his opening statement.

But after just a few seconds, a woman stood up holding a pink-bordered sign with a pro-Hamas slogan.

“Stop the brutal, brutal massacre in Gaza!” she yelled.

Democrat Sen. Patty Murray (D-WA) then suspended the hearing until the protesters were cleared from the room.

As security laid hands on her, the woman continued to deliver her message.

“Shame on you all!” she shouted.

“The world is crying for a ceasefire!

“The American people don’t want to support this brutal war!”

Meanwhile, a cluster of around 10 other protesters silently raised their hands, which were painted red.

A larger group then stood and began shouting, holding up the entire hearing.

“Ceasefire now, ceasefire now, ceasefire now!” the woman yelled as she was escorted from the room.

At this point, Murray prompted Blinken to continue.

WATCH:

Many American protesters have protested in support of Hamas since the terrorist group launched its October 7 attack against Israel.

The brutal assault killed the highest number of Jews in a single day since the Holocaust.

Some protesters even blame Israel for the Hamas terrorist attacks.

President Biden’s administration has opposed a ceasefire and supports Israel’s right to self-defense.

However, U.S. officials have also urged Israel to delay a ground invasion and to allow humanitarian aid into Gaza.

As of Tuesday, Hamas has released four American hostages.

White House national security spokesperson John Kirby said less than ten Americans are being held hostage in Gaza.

Kirby would not specify the exact number.
