Prosecutors Consider Indicting Hunter Biden on Three Tax Crimes, One Gun Charge

Federal prosecutors have considered four possible charges against Hunter Biden including three tax crimes and a charge related to a gun purchase, according to reports.

Two of the charges are misdemeanor counts for failure to file taxes.

They are also looking at hitting Hunter with a single felony count of tax evasion related to a business expense.

The gun charge, meanwhile, is a potential felony.

The decision on which charges to file will be made by U.S. Attorney David Weiss.

Wiess was appointed by President Donald Trump and retained by Biden.

But Attorney General Merrick Garland surely will have the final say.

Two senior law enforcement sources told NBC News there is a “growing frustration” inside the FBI over the kid glove treatment of Democrat President Joe Biden’s son.

Biden’s lawyer Chris Clark said in a statement:

“It is a felony for an IRS agent to improperly disclose information about an ongoing tax investigation.

“The IRS has incredible power, and abusing that power by targeting, embarrassing, or disclosing information about a private citizen’s tax matters undermines Americans’ faith in the federal government

“Unfortunately, that is what has happened and is happening here in an attempt to harm my client.
