Radical Democrats Melt Down Over Israel’s ‘Reckless’ Strike on Iran, Call Netanyahu a ‘War Criminal’

Far-left House Democrats have rushed to condemn Israel following its strategic military strikes on Iranian territory on Thursday night.

Israel’s operation was designed to neutralize threats from Tehran’s nuclear and military infrastructure.

Radical members of the House Progressive Caucus, often referred to as “The Squad,” blasted Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

The Democrat lawmakers accused Netanyahu of being a “war criminal” and claimed the Israeli leader is trying to start a wider conflict that would pull the United States into war.

“Israel has once again bombed Iran, a dangerous & reckless escalation,” Rep. Summer Lee (D-PA) wrote on X.

“The war criminal Netanyahu wants to ignite an endless regional war & drag the US into it.

“Any politician who tries to help him betrays us all. The American people do not want this.”

Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), who has repeatedly attacked Israel throughout the war in Gaza, echoed the accusations.

The anti-Semitic congresswoman suggested that Netanyahu’s motive is political self-preservation.

“The Israeli government bombing Iran is a dangerous escalation that could lead to regional war,” Tlaib wrote.

War Criminal Netanyahu will do anything to maintain his grip on power.

“We cannot let him drag our country into a war with Iran.

“Our government must stop funding and supporting this rogue genocidal regime.”

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), another anti-Semitic Democrat and longtime critic of Israel, claimed the U.S. is too compliant with Israeli military strategy.

“Regardless of what [President Donald Trump] thinks, Israel knows America will do whatever they want and feels confident about their ability to get into war and have the American government back them up,” Omar said.

“Israel also knows they can always rely on getting America to protect and serve its needs.”

“Everyone in America should prepare themselves to either see their tax dollars being spent on weapon supplies to Israel or be dragged into war with Iran if this escalates,” she added.

While U.S. officials have warned Iran against retaliating, emphasizing that the Trump administration was not involved in the Israeli strikes, the reaction from progressive Democrats has focused more on condemning the Jewish state than on holding Iran accountable for years of destabilization in the region.

Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT), appearing on MSNBC’s Morning Joe, accused Israel of trying to sabotage ongoing negotiations between Washington and Tehran.

“It appears as if this was an attempt by Israel to scuttle Donald Trump’s negotiations with Iran,” Murphy said.

“Of course, our preferred pathway here to keep Iran from getting a nuclear weapon is diplomacy.”

His comments suggest unease among Senate Democrats that Israel’s preemptive self-defense operations could derail efforts to revive the Iran nuclear deal.

However, critics argue that the Iran deal only emboldened the rogue nation’s aggression and accelerated its nuclear ambitions.

Meanwhile, President Trump weighed in Friday morning, taking to Truth Social to say Iran still had a “second chance” to come to the table following Israel’s decisive military action.

As the Democrats try to walk a tightrope between deterring Iran and appeasing the progressive wing, the fracture inside the party over America’s alliance with Israel is becoming harder to ignore.
