Vivek Ramaswamy has warned the American people that he believes the recent Hunter Biden indictment is part of a larger “deep state” plot to install a “new puppet” in the White House.
The 2024 Republican presidential candidate was weighing in on the Thursday indictment of Democrat President Joe Biden’s son in California.
Hunter Biden was indicted by a federal grand jury for failing to pay taxes on nearly $200,000 in income earned in 2019, as Slay News reported.
According to the newly unveiled indictment, the younger Biden did not report or pay taxes on income totaling $194,748 that he received from business consulting services.
The charges add fuel to accusations of financial improprieties that have long dogged members of the Biden family, as Fox News notes.
And while the case may appear to have a thin veneer of justice, many are raising concerns that a more sinister scheme may be lurking underneath.
Like other critics, Ramaswamy is skeptical of the indictment’s timing.
In a post on Twitter/X, Ramaswamy voiced his suspicions about the case.

Whether or not his theory is accurate, only time will tell.
However, Ramaswamy did not pull his comments out of thin air.
Speculation has been brewing about whether the Democrat establishment believes Biden can win another election given his age and the obvious weakening of his mental acuity and physical stamina.
Biden’s public confusion and reports of his deteriorating health continue to drip through the media.
Earlier this year, Biden appeared in public with visible strap marks on his face, as Slay News reported at the time.
When pressed on the issue, White House officials admitted that President Biden is using a CPAP machine to treat sleep apnea.
The fact that Biden appeared in public with these marks on his face was no accident as there’s no way it would slip past his handlers.
If Biden was seen in front of the press like that, it’s because voters were meant to see it.
Meanwhile, Democrat voters are turning against Biden in record numbers, with most citing his age and health.
A CNN poll from September revealed that most Democrats believe it’s time for new blood at the top of the ticket in the 2024 presidential race.
Just one-third of Democrat-leaning voters surveyed wanted President Joe Biden to secure the party’s nomination again, according to Axios.
Overall, 67 percent of Democrats and independents aligned with Democrats say the party ought to tap a nominee other than Biden in the 2024 contest.
Yet, the Democrat establishment continues to assure the public that they support Biden, for the most part.
However, at least one former Obama staff member has been more candid about his concerns about the octogenarian president.
Last month, former top Obama adviser David Axelrod suggested on CNN that the president either “get out or get going” about ramping up his campaign efforts.
Axelrod, a longtime Democratic strategist who helped engineer Obama’s presidential victories, initially raised alarm bells following the release of a New York Times/Siena College survey showing Biden trailing President Donald Trump in key battleground states.
He warned that there was “legitimate concern” among Democrats about Biden’s standing.
Axelrod wrote on X that the polls could send “tremors of doubt” through the Democratic Party and suggested that “a lot will happen in the next year that no one can predict,” according to Newsweek.

Meanwhile, one of the Democratic Party’s biggest megadonors, Bill Ackman, has just called on Biden to “step aside.”
Given the concern voiced by prominent Democrats, Ramaswamy’s theory is not entirely without merit.
