Legendary rapper Rick Ross has offered ex-CNN host Don Lemon a job at restaurant chain Wingstop.
The Miami music star reportedly owns nearly 30 Wingstop franchises across the U.S. and often promotes the company in his rhymes.
Ross responded to Lemon’s firing by offering him a job.
“Just found out Don Lemon was terminated from CNN,” Ross said in a video posted to social media.
“Damn, Don. But guess what? The brothers got your back.
“We hiring at Wingstop and for some reason, I believe you know what you doing with them lemon pepper wings.
“So, man, just send over your résumé,” he added.
“17 years. Damn. But I’mma make sure I get you in front of the right grill, brother.”
Lemon announced he had been fired with a Monday post on social media
“I was informed this morning by my agent that I have been terminated by CNN. I am stunned,” he said.
“After 17 years at CNN, I would’ve thought that someone in management would’ve had the decency to tell me directly.
“At no time was I ever given any indication that I would not be able to continue to do the work that I have loved at the network.
“It is clear that there are some larger issues at play.
“With that said, I want to thank my colleagues in the many teams I’ve worked with for an incredible run.
“The other most talented journalist in the business, and I wish them the best.”

On the same day, Lemon’s firing paled in relative insignificance due to the other shocking media news that Tucker Carlson has parted ways with Fox News.
“FOX News Media and Tucker Carlson have agreed to part ways,” the network said in a statement on Monday.
“We thank him for his service to the network as a host and prior to that as a contributor.”
Carlson’s last show was Friday, the network said.
Carlson was Fox’s top-rated prime-time host.
He averaged more than 3 million viewers per night.
