Republican Rep. Paul Gosar (R-AZ) has vowed to launch an investigation into General Mark Milley and former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA).
Gosar said he plans to launch “a real investigation” into the events of January 6, 2021.
The congressman argues that Jan. 6 was an “effort to attempt a coup” by Pelosi and Milley.
“Remember – we will conduct a real investigation into J6,” Gosar warned in a post on Twitter.
“The effort to attempt a coup between traitor Gen. Mark Milley and Pelosi will be reviewed and exposed.”
“Milleys treasonous sell-out to China will be investigated,” Gosar added.
“Pelosi not warning members about intel of impending violence will be exposed.”
“Soon, we’ll know the truth.”
The lawmaker from Arizona wrote the twees as a response to comedian John Fugelsang.
Fugelsang tweeted: “Remember – Kevin McCarthy, Matt Gaetz, Lauren Boebert & Paul Gosar all share the same pre-existing sedition.”
He added the hashtag “#January6th.”

Rep. Paul Gosar was one of the 20 lawmakers who originally voted against McCarthy to be the House speaker.
But after several rounds of negotiations, Gosar voted for McCarthy on the grounds that the new speaker agreed to operate under new “constitutional” and “transparent rules.”
