‘Republican’ Candidate for George Santos’ Seat Exposed as Leftist Linked to BLM, Anti-Trump Groups

A new “Republican” candidate has emerged in the race for ousted Rep. George Santos (R-NY) seat in Congress but his values don’t appear to align with those of most GOP voters.

Kellen Curry has entered the race to claim the Congressional seat once held by Santos in New York’s 3rd District.

However, Curry, who claims to be a Republican contender, appears to have significant ties to organizations traditionally associated with the radical Left.

He also has deep ties to anti-Trump groups, the DC Inquirer reported.

The DC Enquirer has unearthed details that expose Curry as a leftist, rather than a Republican that he’s running as.

The outlet revealed that Curry has a long-held relationship with a left-leaning consulting firm known as “New Politics.”

Curry’s senior campaign advisor, Steven Craven, plays a key role in this leftist organization.

New Politics appears on the surface to be pursuing a bipartisan goal.

The organization professes to dedicate itself to the recruitment and development of servant leaders who prioritize community and country over self.

However, the DC Enquirer states that New Politics openly courts candidates with military backgrounds.

Their stated mission to “revitalize democracy” could appear as a noble cause.

Nevertheless, the organization has been linked with far-left ideologies, such as Marxism-based Critical Race Theory (CRT), that are divisive and controversial among many conservatives.

The group also has ties to the far-left Black Lives Matter (BLM) organization.

These values have led them to support a candidate roster filled exclusively with progressives.

The group and its candidate engage in racially discriminatory practices under the guise of “diversity.”

Curry’s campaign connections don’t end with New Politics either.

He is also reportedly linked to “The Lincoln Project.”

The Lincoln Project was founded by never-Trumpers Rick Wilson, George Conway, Steve Schmidt, John Weaver, Reed Galen, and Jennifer Horn.

The political action committee was founded in 2019 with the specific goal of opposing President Donald Trump.

The group has consistently worked against the MAGA movement and only backs anti-Trump candidates.

Last week, when asked about his preferred candidate for 2o24 during an interview with CNN’s Jake Tapper, Curry evaded a straightforward response.

He refused to answer despite the significant backing for Trump in his district.

WATCH:

Despite the suspicions regarding Curry’s agenda, there are other promising candidates in the running for the seat.

Republican Cara Castronuova, a reporter for The Gateway Pundit and Newsmax, is also running the congressional seat.

On Wednesday, the Italian-American Civil Rights League endorsed Cara Castronuova for the seat.

In a post on Twitter/X, the organization said:

“The IACRL is strongly encouraging Italian American PATRIOT, Gateway Pundit, and Newsmax Reporter Cara Castronuova to seek the nomination for New York’s Third Congressional District!

“We need more ITALIAN AMERICAN WOMEN in Congress.

“They get things DONE!”

Santos also backed Castronuova as his replacement, posting on X:

“Cara is a known fighter in the literal sense!

“I’d love to see an actual REPUBLICAN on the ballot!

“Go get ‘em Cara Castronuova!”

The last thing the GOP needs right now is a Trojan Horse.
