DeSantis Issues Warning to Alexander Vindman: ‘Don’t Bite the Hand that Feeds You’

Florida’s Republican Governor Ron DeSantis has issued a warning to Alexander Vindman and Ukrainian officials who denounced Elon Musk for proposing a peace plan between Ukraine and Russia.

Vindman and several other Ukraine officials attacked Musk, despite the tech mogul using his own resources to help the Ukrainian people by providing the country with free Internet access via his Starlink system.

But it wasn’t enough for Vindman, who now wants to “cancel” Musk for wanting peace in the region.

Vindman, an immigrant from Ukraine who testified against President Donald Trump during the impeachment hearings, is a major cheerleader for the war.

“Let’s cancel @elonmusk,” Vindman said in a post on Twitter.

“If you are going to undermine US security you will pay.

“He likely has a board of directors he’s accountable to.

“Time to send a message.”

Enter Ron DeSantis: “Elon Musk positioned his satellites over Ukraine and gave them these things.

“So, they’ve actually been using his devices to be able to defend their country, and I guess some of the people in the, in the government were attacking Musk.

“And I’m just thinking to myself, ‘like he’s doing this for free, don’t bite the hand that feeds you!

“Good lord. I mean, have a little bit —, so, but I think there was like kind of that kerfuffle … but he has provided that for them for free.

“And if you think about it in a country that big, given what’s going on, I mean, that’s tens of millions of dollars that he’s effectively donated.”

Musk made the cardinal sin of telling Ukraine and Russia to find a way to make peace and for that, he was told to “f*ck off” by Ukrainian official Andrij Melnyk.

Musk said: “SpaceX is not asking to recoup past expenses, but also cannot fund the existing system indefinitely *and* send several thousand more terminals that have data usage up to 100X greater than typical households. This is unreasonable.”

Jason Jay Smart said: “Elon Musk’s Starlink says it can no longer afford to give Ukraine free service and asks the Pentagon to pay for it.

“Starlink had been a game changer in the war.

“This comes days after Ukrainian Ambassador @MelnykAndrij told Musk to “f*ck off.”

Musk responded:

“We’re just following his recommendation.”

Musk has since said he will cover the costs and does not want the Pentagon to pay for Starlink.
