Kamala Harris just lost another top staffer as allegations of mismanagement and bullying continue to emerge from the Democrat vice president’s office.
The seventh staffer to jump ship is her director of press operations, Peter Velz.
Velz confirmed Wednesday that he is leaving his role with the White House and moving to the State Department.
“Today is my last day at the White House, and it truly has been an honor,” Velz said in a statement.
“I will be forever grateful to Vice President Harris, the incredible Team @VP, and I’m so proud of our work this past year supporting this historic Administration.
“The White House is an amazing place to work — you’re surrounded by the most selfless, smart, hard-working people everyday doing their best to serve the American people.
“And it has has been an absolute joy.
“But I’m not going far!
“Later this month I’ll start at the @StateDept on the Protocol team, where I’m so excited to continue supporting the @VP and @POTUS for their meetings with foreign leaders, delegations, and international travel.”

Yesterday, Vincent Evans, Harris’ deputy director of public engagement and intergovernmental affairs, said he was leaving for a job at the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC).
“I am deeply honored to be named the executive director of the Congressional Black Caucus,” Evans said in the statement.
“I started my career in Washington working for a member of the CBC, so I know firsthand the tremendous leadership and impact this caucus has in Congress and across the country.”
From The Daily Wire:
He is the latest top staffer to leave the veep’s office amid reports that Harris is a “bully” who levels “soul-destroying criticism” in a highly dysfunctional office.
Last month, her spokeswoman, Symone Sanders, and her communications director Ashley Etienne, left Harris’ office.
Etienne’s exit announcement came on the heels of devastating USA Today/Suffolk University polling that showed Harris earning a dismal 28% approval rating, 10 points behind President Joe Biden’s, who sat at a not-so-pretty 38% approval.
Biden is apparently not too happy about Harris’ numbers, with one report saying she’s not even considered to be Biden’s successor in the White House anymore, while another said the president is considering moving her to the Supreme Court so he can pick a new veep who might have a chance to win in 2024.
