Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk just put Joe Biden on notice over another of the Democrat president’s massive spending bills.
Musk warned the American people that Congress must not pass the Build Back Better Act, Biden’s new spending boondoggle, saying to scrap the entire thing instead.
“Honestly, I would just can this whole bill. Don’t pass it. That’s my recommendation,” Musk said.
“I mean seriously, we shouldn’t pass it. If we don’t cut government spending, something really bad is going to happen. This is crazy.
“Rules and regulations are immortal. They don’t die.
“The vast majority of rules and regulations live forever there’s not really an effective garbage collection system for removing rules and regulations, so this hardens the arteries of civilization where you are able to do less and less over time.
“The role of government should be that of like a referee, but not a player on the field, t should get out of the way and not impede progress.
He said Biden has jammed “unnecessary” subsidies into the bill that will only hurt taxpayers.
“Do we need support for gas stations? We don’t.
“I’m literally saying get rid of all subsidies.”
“If this was a company, it would be a $3 trillion loss,” he said of the Biden administration’s spending.
“This can’t keep going.”
“The government is simply the biggest corporation, with a monopoly on violence and where you have no recourse,” he said.
“It’s the only one that’s allowed to legally do violence.”
“We should minimize what the government does,” Musk said.
“They haven’t fully appreciated the fact that China really is going to be the big kid on the block,” Musk said of China’s leaders who came of age when the country was still a backwater.
“You can really be pretty chill about things.
“Other countries are not really a threat to you if you’re by far the biggest kid on the block.
“That’s an important mindset change.”
