Stormy Daniels Responds to Trump Verdict: ‘He Should Go to Jail’

Former adult star Stormy Daniels has broken her silence after the shocking “guilty” verdict against President Donald Trump in his New York “hush money” trial.

Speaking during a new interview with The Mirror, Daniels warned voters that Trump has allegedly “lost touch with reality.”

After Trump was found guilty of 34 counts of falsifying business records, the former adult actress said she feels vindicated.

She failed to explain what she feels vindicated for, however.

“I think he should be sentenced to jail and some community service working for the less fortunate or being the volunteer punching bag at a women’s shelter,” she said.

“He is completely and utterly out of touch with reality.”

She also said she was “shocked” over how quickly the jurors came to their verdict.

“I don’t know what the sentencing could be or what Trump will even understand,” she said.

“You have to find the punishment that not just matches the crime, but is fair and just, and that impacts that particular person.

“Who knows what that is with Trump.”

Meanwhile, Attorney Clark Brewster, Daniels’ lawyer, recently sat down for an interview with NewsNation’s “Elizabeth Vargas Reports.”

Brewster revealed how Daniels reacted to Thursday’s verdict.

Daniels was a key player in Trump’s hush money trial and following Trump’s conviction, Brewster claimed that the verdict “hit her hard.”

Brewster explained, “I got a pretty instant report from the courthouse…

“It hadn’t hit the news yet when I told her, really.

“And, she was really kind of taken aback.”

He continued saying, “I think it was the culmination of a lot of things — the finality of it and, you know, the worry and nervousness that she had throughout leading up to this…

“It was more or less a relief that it’s over.”

Trump became the first former President to be labeled a convicted felon when a 12-person jury found him guilty on all 34 counts of falsifying business records in relation to a hush money payment made to Daniels in 2016.

While Daniels may be relieved that this trial is over, she is sorely mistaken if she thinks this legal battle is over.

It is also very unlikely that this conviction will stand in front of a higher court.

During the trial, the prosecution failed to provide any evidence to support the allegation against Trump.

Instead, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg and his team relied on salacious testimonies from Daniels and other shady characters.

The facts of the case aren’t well established, as Trump has repeatedly pointed out, there was no “hush money” payment to begin with.

However, thanks to a biased judge, the prosecution was never forced to prove the facts of the case.

To make matters worse, the exact crime that was committed was never established and a unanimous jury decision wasn’t required on all charges.

Judge Juan Merchan told the jury that “they do not need unanimity to convict,” according to Fox News anchor John Roberts.

The mainstream media attempted to debunk these claims but admitted that Judge Merchan did not require jurors to determine what “unlawful means” Trump had used to promote a candidate’s election.

Rather, Judge Merchan informed the jury that he would consider the verdict unanimous as long as all the jurors believed Trump had used some unspecified “unlawful means.”

The legal strategy employed by the prosecution in league with Judge Merchan will not hold up in a fair court.

The only question is how high Trump will have to go to get to a fair court that will do away with the political theater.

His best shot lies in fighting this conviction all the way to the Supreme Court but it is likely that he will get his conviction overturned at a lower court because of the sheer flimsiness of the case against him and the irregular conduct of the judge.

When all is said and done, Daniels will have to account for the role she played in this travesty of justice.

She can enjoy her short victory for now but Trump can’t be stopped and justice will find a way.
