Ted Cruz Calls on FBI to Search Hunter Biden’s Home for Classified Documents

Republican Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) has called on the FBI to search Hunter Biden’s home and office for any possible classified documents.

The call from Sen. Cruz comes after several batches of classified material were found in a private residence and office of Hunter’s father, Democrat President Joe Biden.

Hunter Biden has already been linked to the top secret material found in the president’s Wilmington, Delaware home.

Joe Biden was storing the docs in unsecured locations throughout the home, including the garage, that were accessible by other family members.

Hunter also claims he was renting the house from his father for a long period.

Following new reports of an email exchange involving the president’s son in 2014, Cruz is now calling on authorities to search Hunter Biden.

A 1,300-word email that discussed destabilization in Ukraine was found in Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop.

The email was to Hunter’s former Burisma energy company business partner Devon Archer.

Archer was sentenced in 2022 to more than a year in prison after being convicted of a fraud scheme.

GOP lawmakers began raising questions about whether the first son had improper access to classified information after officials found a trove of other documents at President Joe Biden’s home in Delaware and a Washington, D.C.

“It seems he leaves classified documents wherever he goes,” Cruz said of Joe Biden during an interview with Fox News host Maria Bartiromo on “Sunday Morning Futures.”

The senator noted that Hunter Biden declared the president’s private residence as his own home at times.

Cruz joined Bartiromo after new information surfaced about a bulk of documents President Biden allegedly donated to his alma mater at the University of Delaware.

The Fox News host reported lawyers representing the parties are attempting to obtain the documents that include 1,850 boxes and 415 gigabytes of electronic records — enough to fill up two tractor-trailer trucks.

“I believe the natural next step that is necessary is for the FBI to examine the 1,850-plus boxes of documents from Joe Biden’s Senate tenure that’s at the University of Delaware,” Cruz said.

“And I also believe it is critical for the FBI to search Hunter Biden’s home and office residences to make sure there are no classified documents there — given all the evidence that’s piling up.”

“We need to ascertain who’s had access to what and when,” he added.

The contents of such classified documents found at Biden’s home remain unknown.

However, the senator said that classified documents range from “general geopolitical observations” to others involving sources and methods gathering secret information that could endanger covert operative lives.

Cruz argues that lawmakers need to know whether such classified documents Biden had “illegally” at multiple locations involve “family business activities and potential corruption.”

“Whether they involve Burisma and Ukraine, whether they involve Communist China and the entities that were paying the Biden family millions of dollars,” Cruz said.

“If he, in fact, had classified documents that implicate his own financial well-being, that raises the potential of very serious criminal liability.”

The email exchange in question, between Hunter Biden and Archer, was from 2014.

“Some sort of decentralization will likely occur in the East,” Hunter told Archer in the email.

“If it doesn’t, the Russians will continue to escalate there (sic) destabilization campaign, which could lead to a full scale takeover of the eastern region most critically Donetsk.

“The strategic value is to create a landbridge for Russia to Crimea.”

Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI), a leading congressional investigator into allegations of Biden family corruption, said the email looks like a “scene-setter” from the State Department for overseas travel.

Johnson notes that it contains “highly detailed information” about Ukraine.

“It’s obvious that Hunter Biden is selling access to information,” Johnson added in an interview with Fox Business anchor Maria Bartiromo.

“Does that have anything to do with some of the classified documents that Vice President Biden was squirreling away in his residence?

“I don’t know. But it looks incredibly suspicious.”
