Ted Cruz Warns Biden He’s as Unpopular as Walter Mondale: ‘Underwater in 46 States’

Republican Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) just warned Democrat President Joe Biden he’s now as unpopular as Walter Mondale.

Cruz slapped Biden with some Mondale-ish doomsday numbers after new polling shows the president now underwater in 46 states.

A poll of 165,786 American voters shows Biden’s approval rating now sits at a dismal 34 percent.

Meanwhile, his disapproval number clocks in at a staggering 57 percent.

Biden has now fallen so far he is now entering Walter Mondale levels of landslide loss territory.

Ronald Reagan won 49 states in the 1984 election while Walter Mondale won one.

At this rate, Biden will be lucky to win even one as his approval is no longer above 50% approval in any state.

Vermont, Hawaii, Maryland, and Massachusetts are the only four states in the nation where Biden is not underwater.

However, he is still below 50% approval in those states.

Biden’s highest approval rating is in Vermont where he gets just 49 percent.

President Donald Trump may be a polarizing figure but he never saw his support sink like this among his base.

In the swing states, it is a bloodbath of epic proportions for Biden and the Democrats.

Georgia, Arizona, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin all voted for Biden, most by slim margins, and now Biden is in the low 30s in these states.

In Arizona, Biden has 32 percent approval to 61 percent disapproval.

In Georgia, Biden has 31 percent approval to 59 percent disapproval.

In Pennsylvania, the Democrat president has 36 percent to 57 percent.

In Michigan, Biden sits at 33 percent to 59 percent.

And in the key state of Wisconsin, Joe Biden has 36 percent approval and 56 percent disapproval.

From The Daily Mail:

West Virginia is the worst state for Biden in terms of approval, but there are a few other honorable mentions.

In Wyoming, only 18 percent of respondents approve of Biden’s job as president while 76 percent disapprove.

Oklahoma has a 23 percent to 70 percent split and Idaho has 22 percent approval and 72 percent disapproval.

It appears Biden is also slipping with independent voters, according to the CIVIQS poll taken January 20 through February 14.

In the 2020 election, self-identified independents voted for Biden by a margin of 13 percentage points over Trump with 54 percent going blue and 41 percent red.

The poll this week, however, shows Biden’s approval among independents at only 22 percent.

The party split is enormous, with only 2 percent of Republicans claiming they approve of Biden’s job and 96 percent disapproving.

Democrats, on the other hand, have a slightly smaller split with 72 percent approval and 13 percent disapproval.
