The majority of Democrats now say they want to see Hillary Clinton questioned by Special Counsel John Durham, according to a bombshell new poll.
The results from the polling come as allegations emerged over the weekend that Clinton spied on President Donald Trump’s White House.
The survey, carried out by TechnoMetrica Institute of Policy and Politics (TIPP) research, found that the tide has turned on Hillary as Democrats now want her answer to the allegations emerging from Durham’s probe of the origins of the Trump-Russia story.
Perhaps more surprisingly, however, is the fact that this poll was taken before Durham’s Friday filing that put the probe right at Clinton’s doorstep.
According to The Daily Mail, “66 percent of Democrats wanted Clinton questioned, a whopping 22 percentage points higher than how many in her party demanded a probe last October, according to TechnoMetrica Institute of Policy and Politics (TIPP) research.
“The amount of Republicans demanding answers is also swelling, rising to 91 percent in January from 80 percent last October.
“Among the independent crowd, those wanting the former secretary of state probed rose to 74 percent from 65 percent.
“Both polls were completed before Special Counsel John Durham last week released a bombshell report that claimed Clinton’s campaign team tried to spy on former president Trump’s computer servers in a failed attempt to tie him to Russia” the Mail reported.
Old social media posts from Hillary did not age well either.
While sharing a statement from her then-special policy advisor Jake Sullivan (who is now Biden’s National Security Advisor), Hillary posted on October 31, 2016: “Computer scientists have apparently uncovered a covert server linking the Trump Organization to a Russian-based bank.”
The statement from Sullivan she promoted said: “This secret hotline may be the key to unlocking the mystery of Trump’s ties to Russia.
“It certainly seems the Trump Organization felt it had something to hide, given that it apparently took steps to conceal the link when it was discovered by journalists.”
Clinton also posted the same day: “It’s time for Trump to answer serious questions about his ties to Russia.”
In that post, she promoted an article from leftist outlet Slate asking if Trump was using a secret server to communicate with allies abroad.
Hillary’s post included a box that made the claims: “Trump had a secret server used to communicate privately with a Putin-tied Russian bank called Alfa Bank.
“When a reporter asked about it, they shut it down. One week later, they created a different server with a different name for the same purpose.
Ex-DNI John Ratcliffe said earlier:
“Michael Sussmann’s is the first of what I would hope would be a number, based on the fact — I provided not just those declassified documents, but I provided 1,000 intelligence community documents that I think support additional charges that I would expect John Durham to bring.”
Republican Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) said: “I’ll tell you what, there is certainly now more than circumstantial evidence that the Democrats and the FBI and the Clinton campaign spied on President Trump’s campaign.
Former darling of the Left reporter Glenn Greenwald:
“Among the reasons the media might want to cover the developments in John Durham’s criminal probe of the fraudulent Alfa Bank story and the crimes committed to spread it:
“The Clinton 2016 official at the heart of it is now Biden’s National Security Advisor in charge of Ukraine.”
