Tiger Woods’ Son Charlie Dominates Competition, Wins Junior Golf Tournament by 8 Strokes

Charlie Woods, the son of golf legend Tiger Woods, is following in his proud dad’s footsteps.

The younger Woods just dominated the competition in a junior golf tournament.

Charlie crushed the competition at the Major Championship at Village Golf Course in Royal Palm Beach, Florida over the weekend.

The son of the 15-time major winner came out on top of the Boys 14-15 Division by eight strokes.

More importantly, Charlie, 14, was the only player in the entire tournament to finish the weekend under par.

He finished one under.

Hurricane Jr. Golf said on social media:

“Charlie Woods – CHAMPION – The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour.

“Congrats to Charlie for winning this weekend’s ‘Major Championship at Village Golf Course’ in Royal Palm Beach, FL by 8 strokes in the Boys 14-15 Division.”

According to SB Nation:

Last December, Tiger revealed the surprising advice that he gave to his son Charlie:

“Don’t copy my swing. Copy Rory’s,” Woods said during NBC’s broadcast of the third round of the 2022 Hero World Challenge.

“That’s one of the things my dad instilled in me, is that you should be able to balance and hold your finish until the ball rolls and stops.

You can swing as hard as you want, but you need to have balance.”

Charlie’s swing has plenty of balance like Rory McIlroy, but he resembles his father too.
