A world-renowned cardiologist is raising the alarm after uncovering evidence that the current strain of “bird flu” is “man-made” and was developed in an American biolab using dangerous “gain-of-function” research.
The warning was issued by Dr. Peter McCullough, one of the world’s leading medical experts.
During an appearance on InfoWars, McCullough warned that the current strain of “bird flu” – H5N1 – is a “man-made problem” that was developed in Georgia.
McCullough explains that a peer-reviewed study traced the origins of the strain to the United States Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Southeast Poultry Research Laboratory (SEPRL) in Athens, GA.
Researchers believe the gain-of-function research is also tied to the Erasmus Medical Center in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
According to McCullough, the gain-of-function research sought to modify “bird flu” to allow it to jump to humans and spread through the general public.
“Bird flu, or H5N1 influenza, has been around for over a hundred years,” McCullough noted on InfoWars.
“It’s well documented in the scientific literature in the United States.
“This most recent outbreak, which is now four years old, […] the current strain of bird flu, is a product of gain-of-function research done in the USDA Poultry Research Laboratory in Athens, Georgia.
“So, it is a man-made problem that our farms are experiencing right now.”
McCullough continues by explaining that the U.S. federal government has been trying to modify the virus so it can spread rapidly through humans and other animals.
“The stated goal of the USDA in doing this research was simply to get it to jump from chickens into mallard ducks,” he explains.
“And that way, it can spread all over.”
McCullough then called on President Donald Trump’s incoming administration to crack down on supposedly illegal gain-of-function research.
“So it’s a bad line of thinking to continue to do gain-of-function research,” he said.
“And, I hope, under the new administration, one of the very first steps taken by the U.S. National Institutes of Health, the CDC… would be to do an all-out ban on gain-of-function research, certainly in U.S. labs and our funding of what happens outside of the United States.
“Because we know it’s not just the government that funds this research but also the Gates Foundation, [and] many other pro-vaccine foundations are ramping up gain-of-function research.
“Even in the initial spending bill that the U.S. House of Representatives had, that [Speaker] Mike Johnson initially presented, there were 12 more U.S. biolabs proposed.”

The warning from McCullough comes as the corporate media and pharmaceutical industry virologists continue to hype “bird flu.”
Last week, KFF Health News published a report claiming that the U.S. government’s failure to contain bird flu outbreaks among cattle could soon lead to an even worse pandemic than COVID-19.
The report cites numerous public health experts and government officials sounding the alarm about the likelihood that Americans may have to deal with another, even deadlier, pandemic if health agencies can’t properly address bird flu outbreaks occurring in cattle and poultry farms.
“To understand how the bird flu got out of hand, KFF Health News interviewed nearly 70 government officials, farmers and farmworkers, and researchers with expertise in virology, pandemics, veterinary medicine, and more,” the outlet reported.
The report quoted Angela Rasmussen, a virologist at the University of Saskatchewan in Canada, who warned:
“We are in a terrible situation and going into a worse situation.
“I don’t know if the bird flu will become a pandemic, but if it does, we are screwed.”
The report continued by accusing the Biden administration of being “sluggish” in responding to the bird flu outbreaks.
However, the reasoning behind the sudden rush for fearmongering about bird flu is becoming clear.
As Slay News reported, a prominent doctor and former health official is calling on the Biden administration to begin rolling out a mass vaccination campaign before President Donald Trump is sworn in next month.
Former Baltimore health commissioner Dr. Leana Wen, who serves as one of the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) “Young Global Leaders,” has claimed that an outbreak of “bird flu” will kill 52 percent of the population.
Dr. Wen is calling on the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to issue an emergency authorization to rapidly roll out mRNA “vaccines” for “bird flu.”
Wen is urging President Biden to use his executive authority to order the FDA to authorize the “vaccine” and expand rapid testing for “bird flu.”
She argues that the plan needs to be ushered in before President Trump takes office.
In an appearance on CBS News’ “Face The Nation” Sunday, Wen claimed that the Biden admin should take steps to prepare for a possible animal-to-human outbreak of avian influenza (H5N1).
Wen argues that the Biden admin needs to expand rapid testing for the virus and order the FDA to quickly approve the H5N1 mRNA “vaccine” for public use to prevent another pandemic.
She stressed that the FDA must approve the H5N1 vaccine so that 5 million doses of it can be quickly administered to the “vulnerable” population before Trump takes office.

Meanwhile, the sudden claims tying the “next pandemic” to the incoming administration are raising concerns that the “bird flu” narrative is largely a media effort to gin up hysteria and set up Trump for another public health crisis as he’s set to be sworn into office in just a few weeks.
The Washington Examiner said Monday:
“President-elect Donald Trump is likely to struggle with the outbreak of bird flu, or H5N1, among livestock and wildlife in the United States, which experts are concerned could become a threat to humans should the spread of the virus not be contained.”
