Tributes Pour in for Diamond of ‘Diamond and Silk’ Following ‘Totally Unexpected’ Death at 51

Conservatives across the country are praying for Lynnette Hardaway, best known as Diamond, of the political commentary duo “Diamond and Silk.”

As Slay News reported, Hardaway passed away unexpectedly on Monday night at the age of 51.

Diamond and Silk rose to fame during President Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign.

The outspoken sister act publicly switched from lifelong Democrats to Republicans to back Trump’s outsider bid for the White House.

A GiveSendGo page was been set up in her honor with a message that says: “The World just lost a True Angel and Warrior Patriot for Freedom, Love, and Humanity!

“Diamond blazed a trail, founded on her passion and love for the entire race of humanity.

“The memory of her passing should forever remain in our hearts.

“In this time of grief, please respect the privacy of Diamond’s family but remember and celebrate the gift that she gave us all!”

In November, the duo’s official Twitter account informed fans that Diamond was ill but did not specify the illness.

President Donald Trump was among the first to respond to the new, saying: “Really bad news for Republicans and frankly, ALL Americans.

“Our beautiful Diamond, of Diamond and Silk, has just passed away at her home in the State she loved so much, North Carolina.

According to Yahoo:

“Raised in North Carolina, Hardaway and her sister began posting videos to YouTube in 2012.

“At the time they were registered Democrats and posted videos concerning a suite of mostly left-leaning issues such as police brutality.

“They became famous however in 2015 after abruptly coming out as ardent supporters of Donald Trump’s presidential aspirations.”

The duo had a show on Fox News’s streaming service Fox Nation from 2018 to 2020.
