Top Trump Aide Indicted in Biden DOJ’s Classified Documents Investigation

A close aide to President Donald Trump has been indicted in the Department of Justice’s (DOJ) politically motivated classified documents investigation, according to reports.

Democrat President Joe Biden’s weaponized DOJ is investigating Trump’s handling of classified documents.

Two sources have now confirmed to Fox News that one of Trump’s close aides has been indicted in the investigation, led by Special Counsel Jack Smith.

Walt Nauta, who served as a Trump personal aide and valet in the White House and later at Mar-a-Lago, was the second to be indicted in Smith’s investigation.

The move follows Trump’s indictment on Thursday night.

The exact charges that Nauta is facing are not immediately clear.

Sources told Fox News that Nauta was seen on surveillance video moving boxes of sensitive material from a storage area at a time when the government had sought information about those documents.

At some point, he reportedly stopped speaking with investigators.

It is unclear whether other current or former Trump aides or associates could be charged in the classified documents investigation.

Meanwhile, as Slay News reported earlier, Judicial Watch’s Tom Fitton has reviewed the newly unsealed indictment against Trump and delivered some bad news to the Democrats.

Fitton said the case will be thrown out.

Former Trump official Mike Benz said: “Trump is now under indictment for a combined 236 years in prison, between the 34 counts by NYC DA and 37 counts by Biden DOJ. 236 years.

“For a 2016 campaign payment and a couple boxes of documents. 236 years.”

Tom Fitton said after he reviewed the indictment:

“I’ve carefully reviewed the indictment of Trump by his political opponents at the Biden Justice Department.

“Judicial Watch has nearly 30 years of experience litigating federal and presidential records issues, including the famous ‘Clinton sock drawer’ case.

“The document dishonestly ignores the U.S. Constitution, the Presidential Records Act, legal precedent, and the DOJ’s/Archives’ previous position that WH records a president takes with him when he leaves the White House are presumptively personal and not subject to review by partisan Biden appointees at DOJ or Archives.

“Under the Constitution, federal law, and precedent, none of the documents are currently ‘classified’ or ‘national defense information’ that restricts Trump’s handling of them.

“They are ALL his personal records and, frankly, should be returned to him.

“If justice prevails, this indictment won’t survive scrutiny by honest, constitutionalist judges and will be thrown out.”
