President Donald Trump took a swipe at his Democrat 2024 rival during a speech before the striking autoworkers in Michigan.
While speaking to workers in Macomb County, Trump blasted Democrat President Joe Biden and his family for being mired in corruption and scandal.
Trump told the crowd that Biden raked in millions of dollars through shady deals without ever having “gotten his hands dirty” through honest work.
He argued that everyday blue-collar Americans are left paying the price for corrupt politicians’ schemes to enrich themselves.
“Crooked Joe and his payday with the Biden family,” Trump said.
“They raked in millions and millions of dollars.
“But it was the men and women who every single day got up and came back home with grease on their hands, and they were the ones that paid the price,” Trump said.
“They paid a big, big price,” he continued.
“The only time Joe Biden has ever gotten his hands dirty is when he’s taking cash from foreign countries, which is quite often actually.”

Trump made the remarks during a speech in front of about 500 autoworkers, including members of the United Auto Workers (UAW).
The UAW is currently on strike against the “Big Three” automakers – General Motors (GM), Ford, and Stellantis.
As Trump mentioned, autoworkers are striking for higher wages amid record inflation under Biden as well as commitments from executives that their jobs will not be eliminated as a result of Biden’s Electric Vehicle (EV) mandates.
“He’s selling you out to China,” Trump told the auto workers.
Ahead of his speech, Trump issued a statement on Truth Social to warn the industry about the impact of Biden’s green agenda policies.
As Slay News reported, Trump blasted Biden over his electric vehicle push.
He said Biden’s green agenda policies will destroy the American auto industry.
“Joe Biden’s draconian and indefensible Electric Vehicle mandate will annihilate the U.S. auto industry and cost countless thousands of autoworkers their jobs,” Trump said in a statement.
“The only thing Biden could say today that would help the striking autoworkers is to announce the immediate termination of his ridiculous mandate.”
“Anything else is just a feeble and insulting attempt to distract American labor from this vicious Biden betrayal,” Trump’s statement continued.
“Crooked Joe should be ashamed to show his face before these hardworking Americans he is stabbing in the back.
“With Biden, it doesn’t matter what hourly wages they get, in three years there will be no autoworker jobs as they will all come out of China and other countries.
“With me, there will be jobs and wages like you’ve never seen before.
“Our economy will grow!”
