Trump Reaches Limit with Paul Ryan, Threatens to Sue Fox News over Ad: ‘See You in Court’

President Donald Trump has reached his limit with Fox News and former House Speaker Paul Ryan after the network ran an ad for the Lincoln Project.

Trump sent a threat to Fox News and Ryan, who now serves as an executive at the network.

The Lincoln project is a group of never-Trump Republican political consultants who duped Hollywood stars and others into giving them large sums of money to fight Trump in 2020.

The organization gloats that it helped sway the election away from Trump in 2020 by peeling away establishment Republicans from the 45th president.

This claim has been widely ridiculed by both Democrat and GOP consultants.

The Lincoln Project somehow survived a full-blown scandal when one of its co-founders was caught sexually harassing young men who worked for the group.

Their tactic is to run ads attacking Trump on Fox News but only in the local market where Trump lives.

That is New Jersey for the summer and that is where the ad ran.

The ad, which you can see below, attacks Trump and accuses him of scamming his supporters.

Trump said:

“The Perverts and Lowlifes of the Lincoln Project are back on, where else, Fox News.

“I thought they ran away to the asylum after their last catastrophic campaign, with charges made against them that were big-time sleaze, and me getting many millions more votes in 2020 than I got in 2016.

“The Paul Ryun (sic) run Fox only has high standards for ‘Trump’ ads, but not for anyone else.

“The Perverts should not be allowed to ‘false advertise,’ and Fox News should not allow it to happen.

“See you all in Court!!!”

According to Mediaite:

Update: Lincoln Project confirms that the ad that raised Trump’s ire ran “on cable news in Bedminster, NJ,” where Trump is currently residing.

Fox News also confirmed to Mediaite that this was a local buy and they did not run a Lincoln Project ad.
