President Donald Trump has blasted the “very corrupt” Department of Justice (DOJ) over the federal agency’s “selective prosecution” agenda.
Many, including Trump, strongly believe that the indictments he faces are part of an unfair, political prosecution via the weaponization of the justice system.
That belief was enhanced last week after it was revealed that Democrat President Joe Biden will not be charged by the DOJ.
Trump, meanwhile, who faces a similar classified documents investigation, is being persecuted by the same DOJ.
According to Just The News, Trump held nothing back as he blasted the DOJ for what he described as a “selective prosecution” process.
Trump, who many legal experts believe had the power to declassify such documents, had previously pointed out that Biden, a vice president at the time when he took classified documents, lacked that power and should be charged accordingly.
In a Truth Social post, the 45th president excoriated the DOJ for magically determining that Biden wouldn’t face charges for his improper storage of classified docs at his Delaware residence and several Biden-linked offices.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump wrote:
“WOW! FAKE NEWS CNN, THROUGH A LEAK FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF INJUSTICE, HAS JUST REPORTED THAT NO CHARGES WILL BE FILED IN THE (MUCH BIGGER THAN MINE!!!) CROOKED JOE BIDEN DOCUMENTS CASE. WE ARE LIVING IN A VERY CORRUPT COUNTRY!”

His frustrations were expressed shortly after U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland announced last week that instead of charges, the DOJ would release a “report” regarding Biden’s classified documents probe.
The report won’t be available until the end of the year, or in other words, until after the critical 2024 election.
“SELECTIVE PROSECUTION!!!” Trump added in another Truth Social post.
News of the lack of charges in Biden’s case sparked immediate backlash across social media.
Many are pointing out what they believe is a clear example of a double standard between the two presidents.
It didn’t take long for social media users to blast AG Garland and Biden’s DOJ over what many described as a “two-tier justice system.”
“Not rage!” one X user wrote.
“It’s Righteous Indignation for what’s been done to him, his family & American Citizens as a whole! Biden stole those classified documents out of a SCIF when he was a senator & while he was VP, snuck them out, transported them illegally to 2nd & 3rd unsecured locations!”
Another X user wrote, “I detest Trump.
“But it certainly seems he has a point.”
Clearly, one doesn’t have to be a fan or supporter of Trump to see what’s going on here.
It’s grotesque and dangerous, to say the least.
