Trump Voters Shut Down MSNBC’s False Claims about Jan 6

A group of Trump voters has shut down MSNBC’s Jan. 6 narrative after host Elise Jordan tried to push false claims about the so-called “insurrection.”

MSNBC assembled a focus group of Pittsburg-area Trump voters to badger them about the riot on Capitol Hill.

However, as Jordan made suggestions about the supposed horrors of the “insurrection,” the group shut down her propaganda in a humiliating fashion.

Jordan attempted to promote the false claim that a Capitol police officer died during the riot.

Officer Sicknick, a Trump supporter himself, died of natural causes a day later.

Sicknick’s death was unrelated to the riot, according to the DC medical examiner’s official autopsy report.

Jordan was also wrong when she suggested Trump supporters breached the Capitol after Trump’s speech was over.

The Capitol barriers were breached at 1 pm while Trump was still speaking.

As one of the female Trump supporters noted, the breach had already happened by the time the speech had finished.

However, Democrats continue to promote this false claim as it creates the illusion that rioters were inspired by Trump’s speech.

Jordan was wrong again when she said Pelosi had “no authority whatsoever” over deploying the National Guard.

The House sergeant-at-arms, who could have requested National Guard troops but decided not to due to concerns about “optics,” reports to the House speaker, who was Nancy Pelosi at the time.

From NPR:

[Former Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund] told the Post that House Sergeant-at-Arms Paul Irving was concerned with the “optics” of declaring an emergency ahead of the protests and rejected a National Guard presence. He says Senate Sergeant-at-Arms Michael Stenger recommended that he informally request the Guard to be ready in case it was needed to maintain security [on Jan 4th].

[…] Sund says he requested assistance six times ahead of and during the attack on the Capitol. Each of those requests was denied or delayed, he says.

Washington, D.C., Mayor Muriel Bowser also wanted a light police presence at the Capitol. She reportedly wanted to avoid a similar scenario as last summer, when federal forces responded to demonstrators opposed to police abuses who assembled near the White House.

Jordan was also simply lying when she claimed she saw footage of Jan. 6 protesters throwing excrement on the walls of the Capitol.

No such footage has ever been released.

That claim was put out by unnamed staffers of Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) on Jan 7 and they said they saw “brownish footprints” on the ground, not on the walls.

This follows MSNBC last week airing claims that Jan. 6 was worse than the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

As Slay News reported, disgraced former FBI agent Peter Strzok, who has been a central figure in promoting the phony Trump-Russia “collusion” hoax, said that 9/11 was “nothing compared” to Jan. 6.

He made the comments during an interview with MSNBC’s Nichole Wallace on “Deadline White House.”

Wallace condemned FBI director Christoper Wray for failing to spout “one utterance” of connecting the dots between 9/11 and the Capitol riot.

She continued by adding that Jan. 6 will do down in American history as the “deadliest attack on the U.S. Capitol.”

“If you look at the scale in terms of threat to democracy — I mean 9/11 was a tragedy, we lost thousands of lives in a horrific way — we still mourn to this day,” Strzok said.

“But when you look at something that is an attack on democracy . . . that could actually bring about a fundamental change to American governance, as we understand it — 9/11 is nothing compared to January 6.”
