Trump Warns Jack Smith and Other Leftists Will ‘End Up in a Mental Institution’ If He’s Re-Elected

President Donald Trump has warned that Special Prosecutor Jack Smith and other leftists pursuing politically motivated cases against him will “end up in a mental institution” if he’s re-elected next year.

Trump is currently making full use of the pause in a gag order Judge Tanya Chutkan and Special Prosecutor Jack Smith tried to impose on him last month.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump said Smith, Andrew Weissmann, and Lisa Monaco were a “team of losers and misfits.”

He warned that they, along with others on the far Left, will “end up in a mental institution by the time my next term as President is successfully completed.”

Trump said this would happen because “of their suffering from a horrible disease.”

The 45th president described this disease as “TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME (TDS).”

The gag order prohibited Trump from saying anything critical about the prosecutors in the case or making any statements about witnesses connected to Smith’s election interference case against Trump.

The case is one of two that Smith is overseeing.

Trump will need to present his argument for permanently lifting the gag order by November 20 so the appeals court can rule on it.

The press is used to being able to ignore anyone they don’t want to hear from.

However, Trump has ways of getting his word out to supporters and the rest of the American people.

Trump has a good point that when anyone shuts down a presidential candidate’s free speech rights, they are interfering in the election.

If Trump were saying that someone should harm his opponents, of course, this would not be part of his free speech rights, but he’s not saying that.

Gag orders that are placed because someone’s free speech “might” lead to threats or harm are unconstitutional.

It’s up to the police to deal with people who break laws by threatening or harming someone.

It’s that kind of faulty thinking that led to some of the bogus charges against Trump for “inciting” the January 6 Capitol breach.

If the laws are followed, prosecutors will never be able to prove incitement because Trump didn’t tell anyone to go into the Capitol building or do anything there.

The Left has gotten carried away in its vendetta against Trump.

Prosecutors and possibly judges have gone way beyond the law and become more like the thought police in 1984 than like impartial officers of the court.

We just have to hope that judges will be fair and objective and that justice will prevail.
