One of President Donald Trump’s lawyers, Lindsey Halligan, has broken her silence to reveal that the 45th POTUS “expressed shock” over his Mar-a-Lago home being raided by the FBI and feels it is an “abuse of power by the Biden administration.”
Halligan discussed the FBI raid at Trump’s Palm Beach residence during an interview with CBS News.
She said she was notified of the raid around 10 a.m. on Monday and was the second Trump attorney to arrive on the scene.
She said she got there around 11 a.m.
She told CBS Trump was shocked at the raid because he thought his team was complying with requests from the National Archive.
The search teams wrapped up their work at about 6:30 p.m.
The FBI agents focused their search on three areas in Trump’s compound: a bedroom, a storage area, and an office.
