Tucker Carlson Snubs Job Offer Worth Millions More Than Fox News Salary: ‘I Don’t Think He’s Even Responded’

Tucker Carlson has reportedly snubbed a huge job offer after getting fired from Fox News earlier this week.

Fox News has seen its ratings plummet in Carlson’s old time slot.

Reports are showing the network lost half its audience since removing the top-rated anchor in all of cable television.

Tucker’s fans are loyal but they also come from across the political spectrum.

Many who normally would not watch Fox, MSNBC, or CNN, because it is all corporate double-speak, tuned in to Carlson’s show because he was not afraid to tell the truth.

As Slay News reported earlier, One America News Network (OANN) spotted the opportunity and stepped in to make Carlson a job offer with a massive raise.

OANN offered Carlson $25 million per year.

Fox News was paying him $20 million per year.

But according to OANN host Dan Ball, Tucker snubbed the network and doesn’t appear interested, despite the pay bump.

“Mr. Herring did make a substantial offer, which would be several million more than Fox paid, to my chagrin cause I don’t make that, but anyway, it’s Tucker,” he said.

“This isn’t about me. So, the offer’s on the table.

“We know Tucker’s in Florida vacationing with the family — wish him the best, hanging out.

“But, yeah — if he’d like to entertain the offer, our founder and boss man would love to have a chat with him.

“So, nothing’s in the works, nothing’s happening but the offer has been extended.

“I don’t think he’s even responded.”

Earlier this week, OAN CEO and founder Robert Herring put the offer out there.

“It would be great if we could get Tucker!” Herring said.

“I might give him around $25 million.

“And he would be well worth that!”

To complicate the situation for Fox boss Rupert Murdoch, lawyers for Abby Grossberg, the ex-Fox News producer who is suing Carlson for alleged “sexism,” just made a bombshell admission.

As Slay News reported, the attorneys confirmed that Grossberg never actually met Carlson in person while working on his show.

To make matters worse, the lawyers revealed that Grossberg has never even been in the same room as Carlson as they both worked at different locations.

Kimberly A. Catala, an attorney for Grossberg, said: “Like many on the ‘Tucker Carlson Tonight’ staff, Abby never met Tucker Carlson in person because he taped the show from his personal studios in Maine and Florida, and he did not visit Fox’s NY HQ during her time there.”

Nevertheless, Grossberg is doing the rounds on the left-wing corporate media to trash Carlson.

She told MSNBC recently: “There was an aspect of ‘I can pick who the Speaker is. I can pick who the president of the United States is, pick who the Republican candidate is going to be.’

“I thought that was very dangerous and didn’t want that kind of power.

“I didn’t want to have senate candidates calling me and being very upset ‘are you gonna destroy our whole campaign tonight’ because he could do that.

“He would call and tell them that if they don’t come on the show, we will destroy you.”

MSNBC host Nicole Wallace said: “What is it about the culture at Tucker, because, listen, as someone who covers him and has covered, covers him as a force that threatens democracy until Friday night, it falls in this category: shocking, not surprising. What was for you as someone inside Fox shocking about the culture at Tucker coming from Maria’s show?”

Grosseberg said: “It was very out in the open.

“What you see is what ends up on air. People are believers who are there.

“I was really, I found it difficult to cover the kind of stories that they wanted me to cover.

“I wasn’t expecting it. Maybe I should have. That’s what some people say.

“Tucker is really intent on this and that wore on my mental health, too, because by that time I had really begun to connect the dots that the programming that we were putting on the air every night was not just generating business, but also generating hatred in the audience.

“And after January 6th, I had this wake-up moment that this is hurting people,” she claimed, despite continuing to work on Carlson’s show for a further year.

“People are getting angry and people are acting out on that anger.

“And this is not okay. And I don’t want to be part of that.”

Wallace then called out Grossberg in humiliating fashion by reminding her that she went to work for Tucker after Jan 6.

“I guess some people who have kept an eye on what he’s done would say that you might have known that before. Right.

“You go to work for Tucker in 2022?”

“Yes,” Grossberg said.

She said of Tucker’s firing:

“There were feelings first of “Yes!” and then also the reality that you don’t want anything bad to happen to anybody.

“But at the same time, Tucker and his executive producer Justin Wells, who was also fired, really were responsible for breaking me and making my life a living hell.

“So there is a feeling of justice, but it’s only partial.”
