Former Democrat Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) has warned of the “danger” that Dr. Anthony “has created for the American people.”
Gabbard, who left the Democratic Party in a spectacular fashion in October, fired back at Fauci for refusing to answer a question about the origins of COVID-19 during a press briefing this week.
During the Tuesday presser, Fauci gave his final briefing before he retires next month from his roles as the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and the Chief Medical Advisor to the President.
However, when conservative Daily Caller reporter Diana Glebova pressed Fauci on the origins of Covid, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre snapped and shut the briefing down.
Several reporters then demanded that the press sec allow Glebova to ask Fauci her “valid” question, causing Jean-Pierre to implode.
“It is not your turn,” a visibly annoyed Jean-Pierre said, resuming the podium for a second time.
“I hear the question … but we’re not doing this the way you want it.
“This is disrespectful … I’m done with you, Simon.”

Gabbard responded to the incident by telling Fox News host Tucker Carlson night that “we can’t deny the danger that [Fauci] has created for the American people, not only with regard to his refusal to answer questions about the origins of COVID and gain of function research, and how it is very likely continuing on that we are paying for, but also the other big lies that he’s continued to propagate, even in his press conference today about masks.”
“He’s telling people ‘mask up,’ knowing full well that when people hear that, they’re going to throw on a cloth mask or a mask like the one he’s wearing in that picture that you’re showing or paper mask, knowing that they don’t do anything to prevent someone from getting COVID or spreading COVID,” she continued.
“They continue to lie to the American people, and it’s putting the American people at risk.”
