Former Democrat congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard has slammed President Joe Biden for repeatedly trying to gaslight the American people.
During an interview on Fox News, Gabbard slammed Biden’s behavior as offensive and hypocritical.
Gabbard was responding to the Biden administration’s decision to wait until the 22nd anniversary of 9/11 to tell Congress about the new Iran deal.
She said the administration’s timing of the deal with the radical Islamic nation was a slap in the face to all families who lost loved ones in the terror attacks.
She also noted Biden’s snub of the victims’ families by failing to show up to memorial sites on the anniversary.
“On a date where the president decided not to show up at any of the sites that were attacked on 9/11, basically turning his back on all the families who were there who lost loved ones,” Gabbard said.
“Turning his back on our fellow Americans.”
Before her career in politics, Gabbard served in a field medical unit of the Hawaii Army National Guard while deployed to Iraq from 2004 to 2005 and was stationed in Kuwait from 2008 to 2009 as an Army Military Police platoon leader.
Gabbard says she joined the military in response to 9/11.
She still serves as a United States Army Reserve officer.
“People like you and I, who were motivated to join the military because of 9/11,” Gabbard continued.
“And then to go and deliver this speech in Alaska that I personally found many parts of it to be quite offensive.
“Where he chose to lecture the American people, saying, you all, we all have a responsibility to defend democracy, that we have to stand united.
“This is coming from a guy who has done nothing but divide America since the day that he took office.
“And as he is telling us, we have to defend democracy, we Americans, while he and his administration are doing everything they possibly can to undermine our democracy and undermine our fundamental freedoms that are enshrined in the Constitution.
“The hypocrisy is deafening.”
“It’s almost like he feels like if he just says things, that they’re true,” Gabbard added, noting that Biden lied about being at Grond Zero on the day after 9/11, as Slay News reported.
“And thinking that we’re so stupid as to sit back and believe what he says when in reality we can see that the opposite is actually very true.”
