Radical billionaire George Soros has taken to social media to shut down reports spreading across Twitter that he died of a “violent heart attack.”
The unconfirmed rumors started to spread over the weekend and false reports that Soros has died quickly went viral.
“George Soros dead” started trending on Twitter Sunday.
The rumor emerged after an Irish activist allegedly wrote, “George Soros has died of a violent heart attack.”
Soros responded to rumors that he’d died by writing on Twitter, “Rumors that I had a heart attack are completely false.
“I am alive and healthy.”

However, the confirmation that Soros is “alive and healthy” triggered outrage among thousands of Twitter users.
Many responded by voicing their disappointment that he is still alive.
Some also joked he must be receiving experimental health care saved for the elite.
