Two male boxers have easily made their way to gold medal matches in their respective weight classes at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
Lin Yu‑Ting of Taiwan and Imane Khelif of Algeria are both banned by the International Boxing Association (IBA) after DNA tests proved they are men.
Nevertheless, the Olympics permitted both fighters to compete in women’s boxing on the governing body’s “transgender” policies.
However, neither Lin nor Khelif “identify” as transgender and both insist they are “women,” despite gender tests showing they have XY chromosomes, meaning they are male.
Lin and Khelif have notably dominated female opponents.
As Slay News reported, Khelif’s first fight ended in just 46 seconds after he landed several shocking blows to the head on a female boxer Angela Carini of Italy – a real woman.
“I’m used to suffering,” Carini said after the match.
“I’ve never taken a punch like that, it’s impossible to continue.”
Both male boxers have easily won every single round.
They’re now guaranteed either a gold or a silver medal.
International Olympic Committee President Thomas Bach defended the governing body’s decision to allow male boxers to compete against women.
Back argues that concerns over their “gender identity” are “totally unacceptable.”
He forcefully defended the inclusion of the male fighters and blasted the pushback as “hate speech.”
In a statement, Bach also falsely claimed the two men were “born as women.”
“We have two boxers who were born as women, who have been raised as women, who have a passport as a woman, and who have competed for many years as women,” Bach said.
However, as Slay News reported, the IBA has again confirmed that both Lin and Khelif “are male.”
Members of the IBA held a press conference in Paris on Monday and said that Lin and Khelif failed two gender tests, one in 2019 and one in 2023.
Chris Roberts, the IBA CEO, said the tests were given to the fighters after they were made aware of concerns about safety from a number of fighters, coaches, and medical staffers.
“Both boxers were asked to take a further blood test,” he said.
“That happened the 23rd of March, the results came through and it demonstrated the chromosomes we refer to in competition rules that make both boxers ineligible.”

The presser notably turned testy when Dr. Ioannis Filippatos, the former Chair of the IBA Medical Committee, told reporters that biology and nature cannot change.
“Why [do] you attack me? Why [do] you attack me?” he asked reporters.
“I tried to say that the medical result, blood result, looks and says – the laboratories – that these boxers are male.”
Khelif will face Yang Liu of China on Friday, at 4:50 p.m. Eastern.
Lin’s final match is against Polish fighter Julia Szeremeta on Saturday, at 3:30 p.m. Eastern.
Both men stand a good chance of winning gold in the women’s events.
